Hi CGC, I've got a submission coming back to me. One comic has "replaced staples" and got a "Conserved" label (which I think is appropriate, and is what I wanted). Another comic has "replaced staples" and got a "Qualified" label. I don't understand? Why didn't the second comic get a "Conserved" label too? Conserved is much more desirable in my eyes. The order is CGC7123140916 The 2 comics in question are: Brazil "Journey Into Mystery 85" & "Red Seal Comics 20"

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't even own a DVD/BluRay player anymore since the advent of Streaming everything.

Like I said....... Fun inheritance. Are you a comic guy? If so, that's probably why they were left to you.

That's a fun inheritance

Instead of me calling..... how about if they just fix the "dropping off the page after 8 months" software problem. Last I remembered CGC makes a LOT of money. Why aren't they fixing this?
-
Anyone know how to get the shipping details once your order is shipped back from CGC. I can't find anything to click on. This is again the problem when our submissions drop off the submission page after 8 months.

My 4/13/22 Econ FT just went to GEI

Who cares...... still an amazing deal.

Wow someone just made a killing with this Ebay win. The JIM 83 was kind of lost within the auction I guess. The JIM 83 is low grade (looks like it was used as a cutting board), probably only a 1.0-1.5, but at $2380 for the win..... that's a steal. I had a tracker bid on it but forgot to go for it at the end https://www.ebay.com/itm/134152876588?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

And that lower right black corner ALWAYS shows a crease or two, so you avoided that which is good.

Archie 50 CGC 3.0 (restored) OW-W pages - Restoration is that the cover was reattached with glue. Low grade comics with tape usually still get a Blue label, but low grade with glue..... I guess they get PLODs $850 + $15 shipping
-
Tales of Suspense 42 CGC 4.5 OW pages To me this presents like a 6.0.... at least from the front. (what looks like a stain at the bottom of the back cover is just a reflection of my phone) $380 + $15 shipping
-
Journey Into Mystery 86 CGC 2.0 OW pages (2 small pieces of tape on interior cover) $199 + $15 shipping
-
Normal Rules No Probies or HOS US destinations only Pay by Check, MO, venmo Will be shipped USPS registered. You pay $15 shipping No returns on Slabbed comic. 1st in the thread wins it.

My 8/11/21 Slow-Economy sub showed up as "Shipped" this morning. I sent this submission in to CGC 390 days ago for grading. Wow, that's a loooooong time to wait. Unless they improve the Econ TAT I will never submit for Econ again.

My 8/11 just came up as SHIPPED this morning.

Adventure 40. Most "oddball" big DC key?
gadzukes replied to twmjr1's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
OK..... it's only a repro cover.... AND it's incomplete, but it still feels good to own it. (at least the CF is present). This is one of the cooler finds I've made when I bought a pile of coverless comics.... you never know what's in those coverless garbage piles. -
I've had this as a raw forever. (unfortunately the cover was glued to the interior). I knew it would get a purple label, but I'm ok with that.

GPA might need to start putting commas into their numbers. It's starting to get hard to tell what the number is
