    Look closely at this Flash cover. It graded 1.0 because of massive amounts of Bug-Chew on the cover. I find it really interesting that the bugs chewed neatly around the flames on the cover. I've seen this phenomenon before on other GA comics where the bugs stick to the "white paper" only, but I don't think I've ever seen it to this extent. I guess certain inks don't taste good? If you really look close you'll see that even up on the top edge the bug chew neatly goes around the "Aug. No. 8"

    I sold my Af15 4.0 here on the boards a couple months ago for a nice amount (with no commissions). It felt good. I was very happy. It was the most I've ever sold a comic for. And with the way the prices have kept climbing....... I think my buyer is probably VERY happy right now. Sometimes it's nice to just do a quick sale here on the boards, but...... an argument can definitely be made that Heritage or CC or CL will get you an amazing price, even once the commission is subtracted. I loved watching the last live HA auction. Simply amazing prices.

    I think I've figured this out..... this was NOT the 7th episode of Marvel's "What If?"..... this was the 1st episode of Marvel's "Not Brand Ecch".

    Possibly...... and yet I found myself laughing my @$$ off. I like that this episode was very contrasting to the others. I don't necessarily want any more episodes to be like this, but I sure had a lot of fun watching. It was almost like an SNL skit. I'm going to have to watch it again as there were many "throw away" lines that were very funny. 2 episodes with HTD now..... nice. I'm not going to say "Worst Episode".... It was meant to be spoofish/funny and it succeeded.

    I've been looking thru some of my long boxes and ran across this one. Wow, it's really nice. And a tough black cover. It is unpressed. Insides look White I see 2 "non-color-breaking" spine tics that look like they could easily be pressed out. I see a 1 tiny super light foxing mark near the free edge of the back cover. What do you think?

    Do you feel the same about the Superman 2 above, or does the label notation basically make this a qualified book in your eyes?

    Absolutely gorgeous copy of Superman 2. Is the back cover as nice as the front? Four "margin pieces" that go all the way into the art is pretty significant though. I would have been nervous sending this one in for grading not know how much of a hit those margin tears were going to get. 7.0 seems about right with how nice this presents.

    I finally sent my Supe 1 & Cap 1 in because I knew the "percentage of value" fees for slabbing would start to be daunting on the two of them (which is ironic cuz if the value keeps skyrocketing it would pay for the fees). I also had a fear that there might be some resto, or a trim that I had missed, so it was nice to have those fears assuaged. I'm glad I sent them in because Matt talked me into conserving them which really worked out for me grade-wise.
