So that means the AF15 finish at about $51,000 US with commissions. That's super strong for a 3.0ish AF15. I wonder if the buyer thought it was a higher grade? Or maybe they didn't see the torn off piece of the splash page. Or..... maybe pence copies have finally flipped the narrative and are now worth more than US copies

I'm still unclear about the commissions. Were they added into the shown prices already?

This "Stan Signed" raw pence copy just sold at auction today. The auction house graded it as (GD+/VG-) so (3.0ish) 26% commission I believe in US dollars (with commission) this went for $51,000 Pretty big price for a raw 3.0 pence.

That's $40,500 US Is this with the 26% added commission? If not..... add another $10,500 for a total of $51,000 US.

I loved the spinner racks. Sometimes you got lucky when a single comic that you wanted, that was a few months old, was sitting in the back hidden by the other comics. -

I guess I'm excited because as an American I have never seen so many Pence copies in a collection. To me it's rare and exciting. I guess it's ho hum across the pond. Kevin, does your collection look like this? If so...

I only put some of the pics of Grails. It's a super complete collection of Marvel. It's so cool to see such a nice UK collection. It's special.

The Ian Penman collection is INSANELY nice. It should be considered a Pedigree collection for Pence.
