Has anyone seen the rest of this collection?

As I correctly predicted Metro would be the buyer of the AC 1 9.0 for around $3M, I predict Metro will also be the buyer of this book. I think $900K is about the right price. Even if it is not Hariri who ultimately ends up with this book, there is another collector who can throw down this kind of coin and collectors WW. He recently bought the Sup 1 5.5. Fun to watch!

Predictions as to the going price of ASM 300 9.8 w ... In one year: $1750 In two years:$1350 Three years: $1200 I think we are seeing "irrational exuberance" FWIW...

I am fairly certain we are seeing the peak (at least for several years). I see prices returning to the $1500 range withinin next 12 months or so... Or I could be wrong.

Where's the original artwork? Was it stolen? I was at a con in the mid 90s when I heard some art work of his was stolen at the con...

I tend to agree. I think the book will settle again at $1000... not sure when but that is my buy price.

He consigned a book to pedigree .. It "sold" two weeks ago but shows up as his regular inventory again due to a "reneged buyer".. Pedigree have a lot of "reneged sales"??

Which sums up exactly why my zest for collecting has waned as this stupid game has arose. Looking for non color breaking stresses or "pressable" defects, isn't why I started collecting high grade GA books years ago, and certainly isn't why I have invested a ton of money on HG GA books. I have always thought CGC places too much emphasis on non color breaking defects.

They are the same... See the brown fleck near Lois Lanes left elbow and white flecks on Supes chest. Fingerprint matches. I've known this for several years as I researched that copy when it sold few years ago on Clink (for around $4k). It was on EBay for few years at BIN of $10k with no takers. Pressed resubs like these never get by me... I'm the Sherlock Holmes of this stuff.

As I predicted (I think correctly) the Peps would go to one collector, I also predict these will go to one collector. If just one boardie can prove me wrong by coming on here and showing us a recently bought MH Pep, please do so.

I am considering buying a few certified books he has listed with BINs (a few voldy books).But after reading this thread I'm a little concerned. If the books are certified, would you folks still have reservations?
