  1. As a child of the 90's, I've always felt a bit ripped off. Girls used to wear flannel potato sacks with Oshkosh B'gosh overalls. Now everything seems to be skin tight and half there. I guess the trade off was that I got to rock my sparkly MC Hammer pants.
  2. Did you post your video on how to properly pronounce Saga on Instagram? love some Sa-Gooo.
  3. For what it's worth, 4comix is a solid citizen on Instagram, and one of the guys that makes the comic community on there a fun place to be. And if it's still in doubt, may I add he is not Hustruck. I think most of us would get annoyed at being falsely accused of being a well known ne'er-do-well, even one that cures cancer. Happy and safe New Year to all
  4. If I had my druthers I'd give the buyer a partial refund, tell him to keep the book, and he can do with it as he pleases. I know Adonis has had some issues in the past, but it's not his fault the buyer made assumptions on what he was buying. Bad form on keeping the book, IMO. I agree with everything you say except this point. If you're selling a raw book and the buyer continues saying "this will be a 9.8, right?", I think you have an obligation to temper the buyer's expectations or assume the consequences when it doesn't come back a 9.8. A-DONJS should have said something. Maybe his grading as good as he thinks it is which is something for everyone watching this to remeber if you'd still even consider buying something from him at this point. I would place more value in that question if it came before throwing out the and sending the seller money, not after. Donating the book to the raffle is a great idea, it would take some of the stink out of the situation.

  6. Used? Yes - woke up to find another pair sold - $30 for the old worn out sneakers with the buyer paying to have them shipped to Australia. Another satisfied customer.
  7. Can't prescreen SS books. MOST sellers over submit to ensure they cover everyone. Ahh, that makes sense. I would imagine pre selling 10 9.8's and only submitting 10 books would be playing with fire. For this book or similar con books absolutely. For an off the rack book like Random Book #123 Dre likely only subs as many as he has subscribers as getting caught having an extra 9.8 of Random Book#123 in 9.8 is likely break even with costs I just noticed the Arrow gif in your sigline, is that from season 3? I'm almost done with season 2, have the new episodes all dvr'd. I'd hate to think I somehow missed them working the boxing glove arrow into an episode. I won't spoil it for you. I have to catch up, I think an Arrow mini marathon is in order.

  10. Honest question. If Adonis pre screened the book as a 9.8, and during the sig process it gets dinged down to a 9.6, should he be held accountable for the drop in grade? Assuming he guaranteed a 9.8 to begin with? I've never taken part in these pre-sale events, so I'm unsure of the rules for all involved.
  11. Why was having the 9.8 so important? Snyder doesn't write 9.6's. I thought The Wake was blah. That's right. I agree, wasn't a fan.
  12. I'm a little sleepy, so maybe I missed something. But if the seller never guaranteed a 9.8, and the buyer doesn't want a 9.6, and the seller was going to refund the buyers $, then what's all the hubbub about?
  13. Is that Brittany Murphy? I thought Brittany Murphy was dead. Well, I didn't mean NOW.
  14. Does he buy them for resale or to keep? If he makes a living selling books that wouldn't bother me. It would bother me if he was buying to keep them but couldn't afford it. Keep. No where close to being a dealer of any kind.
  15. Honestly, this place would be barren without you. YOU RULE!!! I was going to say the same thing. Easily my new favorite boardie. I like to think of all the dudes in wheelchairs drinking water and laughing at him! He's like Archie Bunker without the warmth.
  16. That face is what every girl in school always made when I walked into the room. She sorta makes a Debbie Downer face at the end
