Anybody know how rare a Incredible Hulk 162 first Wendigo double cover is?

    Generally curious buuuut:

There is no real way to know, no print run of it etc. But I think in general we would all really like to know "how rare are double covers of anything".......in case we stumble across any double covers etc.

You will never really know because going by slabs is pointless.  Nobody will slab a 5.0 of that book.

A dealer/collector who process a huge amount of inventory, buys collections, etc. may have a better sense than some of us.  Flying Donut has been into variants and errors since forever, I remember him on the ebay boards too in the early 2000s before I joined here... Dan, what are your thoughts?  My experience is like 1 every 5,000 books I own, but that seems too small as I see people talking about them more frequently it would seem.

What about on mobile devices like an iPhone/iPad using Safari? I know you could always scroll to the top by tapping on the top of the screen, but how do you scroll down?

I too wish there was an arrow to fast scroll down to the end of the page.

Especially since tapping the star/dot to get to the newest unread post has been hit or miss so far. Sometimes it just takes me to the top of the page containing said post.

  3. I miss seeing custom titles, join up dates, and location info next to each users name. It adds flavor to the place, and while it's mostly cosmetic, there is some functionality to it, too.

Some people have been here a long time but don't post much. I'd be more comfortable purchasing something from someone with a handful of posts if they've been here for years, as opposed to someone that signed up yesterday.

@Architecht I'm sure it's not high on the list of priorities, but are there any plans to restore some of the visual elements to the mobile users? Stuff like sign up date, location, custom titles, sig lines, etc?

It would go a long way to making this place feel more like home to those of us that use our phones to check the forums. Right now, the place feels so sterile and bland.

I would post that in the change requests forum.

I'm not adverse to including some of those things. The way the mobile stuff works, is that the theme created deliberately has condensed what they consider more optional information to better fit a smaller screen, BUT they have excluded things they thought were unimportant, but the members really want to see. It would take some deeper html customizations for some of what you're looking for, but it's not impossible.

    Will do (thumbsu

  6. Thank you CGC, for providing us a place to promote, buy, and sell your product.

I'd also like to thank the 14 year old kid that built the phone that I use to view the forum, all while making less in a week than I spend on lunch each day.

Speaking of lunch, thank you to the pig that sacrificed his delicious, succulent flesh so that I can eat a yummy BLT while reading the forum.

Thank you society, for making me a cynical, sarcastic jerk.

  7. Still trying to figure this out on my phone. When I highlight the the previous board members post, it seems to attribute it to the last person that posted instead of the correct boardie.

If I try to highlight and include the board members name, it just takes me to their profile. And when I click the + next to quote this, it doesn't give me the option to include anything besides the last post in the nested quote.

Any mobile users that can help, I'd appreciate it.

I sure hope none of you ever made a "+1" post. Should I go go through your post history and check? :baiting:

At the moment, I'm neutral on the "like" button.

+1 is a quick and easy way to put my 2c in and say "I agree with this".

I havent tested it out, but I don't see names attached to the likes. Seems rather pointless to me. I have no problem with it, though. But I WOULD like a dislike button to balance things out. Otherwise, every thread becomes a knob slobbing fest.

I unpinned a couple of ancient ones.

Thank you! They were annoying on the old board, but at least I was able to see the first few threads on my phone as soon as I logged in. Now, I had to swipe 6 times just to get to the first unpinned thread. And yes, I counted. :insane:
