  1. http://screenrant.com/guardians-of-the-galaxy-2-adam-warlock-darkhawk/ Earlier today, Gunn (courtesy of CBR) responded to that rumor (and one that Darkhawk would appear in the film as well), addressing whether the toys meant the characters would be in the film. Following that post, Gunn took to Twitter to clarify his previous comments, once again opening up the possibility that Adam Warlock could appear: “I think it was not very well thought out because I’m getting questions about. ‘Is Darkhawk in the movie because of the Marvel Legends figure? Is Adam Warlock in the movie because of the Marvel Legends figures?’All you need to do is look at the packaging, you guys. On the packaging cover, it says ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ on the figures that are from the movie and it doesn’t say Vol. 2 on the other figures. So that should tell you what’s from the movie and what’s not.”
  2. Yeah, seems like DH was just crammed into this wave, the actual GotG2 figures have the movie logo on the box while the others just have the name of the wave.
  3. Just came from the show, had a good time with my stepson. I was a bit surprised by how many dealers had just boxes and boxes of slabs to look through. The line to sub CGC books was long and didn't look like it was really moving.
  4. Actually Rictor has a decent amount of screen time in the film and could show up in future films.
  5. I just noticed CGC has created a newsstand label for this book. Makes tracking these books MUCH easier.
  6. I tried to convince myself to get the Deadpool cover but all I kept seeing is this...
  7. yeah someone looking just at that graph would be wondering what is going on. Yes unfortunately CGC doesn't note if it's a direct or newsstand but we know the 9.2 is a direct because it was on eBay for a while and it's unlikely those 9.8s are newsstands.
  8. So it looks like a Nightwing movie is a go, which makes a Tim Drake film debut a bit more of a possibility (apparently Warner Bros did a Facebook tour of the set and already confirmed the dead Robin in Batman V Superman was Jason Todd). Not that they have to do a 'Batman & Robin' in the DC films, but if ever Tim has a shot, this is it. Just in case, I'll keep a copy of the 2nd print newsstand tucked away.
  9. Yeah that one can take a while to track down. I messaged sellers on eBay for a few weeks until someone confirmed the copy they had up for sale had the "000".
  10. For the record I put up my CGC graded 8.5 copy on eBay and it sold yesterday for the best offer price of $1,200. I had turned down an offer for $800. This was more or less what I expected at this point with no established sales history, though I have a feeling this may look like a steal one day. I looked at most of the rare books over on Recalled Comics and this particular comic has 2 things going for it that the others don't .... it's a 1st appearance & its Batman. It'll be interesting to see how the other copies grade and sell going forward.
  11. That ink mark on the top right corner is interesting, it looks as if someone tried to fill in that jaggered perspective line. I never noticed that particular line before but it is different from the others, not as smooth or straight.
  12. Nice to see a 12th, these are like Doctor Whos now lol. Any idea where it originated? A few have come from Florida.
  13. All 3 of the marker issues together. Looks like they are crossed out in the same area.
  14. Hi WK, glad you found us, I saw your post on CBSI. Yes that's one of the rare copies you have, the 11th known copy. I believe it's at least the third to have the barcode struck out with a marker. So your copy came in a mystery box? Interesting. Any chance the seller was from Florida? Seems like most copies are originating from there.
  15. Someone on eBay just incorrectly listed a 2nd print direct market as ultra-rare with only 4 copies. I messaged him that it's missing the barcode, let's see if he updates the listing. Hard not to believe he's trying to be sneaky since a simple search on eBay brings up 17 copies of this book. https://www.ebay.com/itm/122360047462
