#16 was a very strong issue. I felt Frank raised the writing up a notch and even Chris's pencils seemed to improve. I was surprised to read that next issue is the last for this arc, it feels like it could easily go another two or three.

Why is Andrea alive in the comics, dead on the show? Why did the Gov not do anything to Michonne on the show? Where is Daryl in the comic? Daryl took Jesus's job on the show, so they probably won't need him for awhile.

I think a lot of folks expected Negan to make an apperance during the finale last Sunday, but seeing as well have to wait a bit longer I think #100 will cool off again at least until October. My guess is he won't appear until the next mid season finale.

Sooooo I just read Harbinger: Children of the Eighth Day and it was pretty bad which sucks because I was really looking forward to reading it because I had heard such good reviews.

Seems like 2nd Print 3rd Print Yellow Regular Cover Chrome All the other variant covers haven't spiked. I noticed last year that demand for Walking Dead books really drops inbetween seasons. This year we have a new show starting in the summer so that may help maintain some value.

+1 And it would be one thing if any of them were actually "new" and/or "different" characters. These just seem like superfluous minority knock-offs of the "real" characters. -J. I agree, to a certain extent. I wish we could get some original, new characters once in a while. It seems all of the "popular" ones are of the knock-off type. Who was the last original character to stick? 90's X-men? Gambit, DP, Cable, Bishop, etc.? Deadpool (thumbs u You mean Deathstroke?

I had to google some of their backgrounds to see what you meant. So Cap is black, Spidey is half black/Hispanic, Nova is half Hispanic, Ms Marvel is Middle Eastern, Thor is a white woman, Vision is an artificial life form, and Iron Man is unknown. Living in New York this is more like what I see day to day, just a mix of everybody. I think the day will come that we look back at all white teams and cringe at the lack of diversity.

I did the same thing because my mom wouldn't buy me any more bags & boards. They stayed like that until I was a Teen and thought it was too cool to have that stuff and dumped my two long boxes of variants in dumpster at a new house build in my parents subdivision. Way too many stories of Valiant comics in dumpsters. I think we all need to start searching landfills for long boxes like they did with those Atari ET cartridges.

Here's a post-Unity one that no one seems to talk about... Shadowman #10. It's the first appearance of Sandria Darque. She has been as intriguing as her brother in the new Valiant books. Interesting, nice tip. ANYMORE? Speaking of Darque... Master Darque is in Shadowman #8, no doubt... but he's always in the shadows. We don't really know what he looks like until Eternal Warrior #6... a Barry Windsor-Smith cover. Quick, what's the first Valiant book with a shadow? It would be cool to find something hidden in early book after all these years.

I know shop owners who tossed out their Valiant in the garbage along with their late 80s early 90s baseball cards. Man, that's got to hurt, but I understand. A few years back I thought my 90s comics were worthless and tried to give them all to my nephews. The only thing that saved me was that their mothers didn't want the clutter. We're talking near mint copies of New Mutants 87 & 98, X-Men 266, etc, almost ended up as coloring books.

.....are people really expecting something from Master Darque?? Did I miss something here?? Harada and Master Darque have a huge impact to Valiant. I had that book on my watch list. I was going to come in and snipe it. I was too! Honestly I think that price was a good deal. Only going to go up! One of if not the main villain in the Valiant universe. I liked Harada but didn't think too much of Darque. I guess I don't recall Valiant stuff as well as I thought. I don't recall Darque being in any of the future stories, just a Shadowman villain. Time to bust out some stuff and reread, it seems. I remember a few months back some site had an insane deal for digital copies of every Valiant comic for like $20. I missed it by 2 days.
