  1. Sorry if it's already been discussed, but I just noticed issues of Hawkeye vs Deadpool #0 being sold on ebay as the 1st cameo appearance of Spider-Gwen. Thoughts?
  2. When variants get 2nd prints, then yes, there are too many.
  3. Is "Encore" French for "2nd print"? Encore looks too similar to the 1st print, thanks for devaluing our books Midtown. Found a new variant on the bay; http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191521287669
  4. And so it begins again: Step 1: A thread is started on the boards to pump a book. Step 2: A couple of exorbitantly high fake "buy it nows" are clicked on ebay to spike GPA and create a "paper trail" on ebay. Step 3: Coming soon! -J. Step 3: Create three-step list to throw off suspicion.
  5. As great covers go, I despise what's going on with the title and Miles's head. A mix of 1st & 2nd print covers would have been they way to go;
  6. 9.8 sold for $335, that's totally insane. ebay Ultimate Fallout #4 CGC 9.8
  7. I was in the fight but got outbid, that's ok, no way I'm paying over $500 for a comic in that condition.
  8. What exactly is going on in the Hughes 1:100 cover? Looks like Spider-Gwen is holding a drawing of herself??? I really wish Hughes had just drawn an unmasked Spider-Gwen. Disclaimer: Not a hater, I have 2 copies, but probably won't sit on them after they get slabbed.
  9. I hope you left a negative or at least a neutral. The seller either tried to back out for more money or he over promised, either way he deserves bad feedback.
  10. Times Square store has a sign up saying only 1 of each cover allowed, online site may be different.
  11. Midtown has a limit of 1 per customer for EVERY cover, even the regular edition.
  12. Awesome! I love seeing boardie art! I myself have no art skills whatsoever. Zero, zilch, nada. I could draw a stick figure Gwen, haha. Everyone be sure to get a blank cover and show your Art skills, stick figures and all!
  13. How is this silly? What's silly is some of the stuff on the modern ebay thread. X-Force?!? Really?? Copycat?? Come on man, that is silly to me. With the insane and frequent amounts folks are paying for New Mutants 98, I wouldn't disregard anything related to Deadpool.
  14. What If... Marvel just uses Spider-Man (unmasked), perhaps with a fresh take on the costume (something between classic & Miles) and leaves the rest to be determined by Sony in their films? We still getting wise cracking Spider-Man hanging with the Avengers without any of the possible baggage from Sony's films.
  15. Wouldn't X-force 20 (vol. 1) be a better comic to get? XF 19 only has 1 panel of Copycat called Vanessa. Or is this the old mis-direction? Get forumites to buy XF 19 while we secretly buy 30 copies of XF 20? Marvel says: First Appearance (in true form) X-Force #19 (1993); Geez, a proper collection of Copycat's 1st appearance requires New Mutanta #98, X-Force #19 & #20! That's until some writer reveals Copycat was also Aunt May in Amazing Fantasy #15.
  16. Here it is http://www.coollinesartwork.com/Featured.asp?Piece=301063
  17. I called it. Thank you. This will be a $20 by the official announcement Yes you did, I just saw the thread in Copper forum. So far I'm counting 15 copies sold today on ebay, all cheap of course. I'll be digging through longboxes and some dollar bins tomorrow I just checked to see if I have a few copies of X-Force #19. I found 69 of them. Good Lord Man! How did you accidentally amass 69 copies?
  18. Love it, very artsy. That's the best thing about variants, it let's Marvel take chances on covers we would otherwise never see.
  19. 2 more Chris Mooneyham pages from Five Ghosts. The first page shows Fabian Gray with the ghost of Miyamoto Musashi and the second page is the ghost of Robin Hood.
