    I was fortunate to be there to witness the 1631st post as it happened. I'll never forget the epic brilliance and majesty of that post standing alone representing the entirety of the thread. I guess it's so fresh in my mind that I still get tingly when I think of it.

    While I like the idea, someone falsifying a rating would compromise any value of having a rating scale in the first place. An advantage to the "turmoil and effort" is often a problem can be resolved through soliciting public(board) opinion and I've seen more instances of dispute related to weaknesses in communication from one or both parties more so than any outright chicanery.

    Only thing I can offer is that Mr. Gaines title/credit changed from "Publisher" to "Founder" in Mad #315. Not sure about Al Feldstein.

    I had a couple PM's that I'd read, then I was away from the site for 2-3 days and upon return those messages showed "unread". I enjoy reading the same thing over and over, so no harm done really.

    It's a great read, but I don't think it will be king once the dust settles. I'd believe that will be a book featuring a character tied to a larger universe. BA #12 or some variant cover? Not sure, but I don't see new readers/collectors jumping onto WD at this point.
