  1. I suspect you have a house full of cool toys. Both vids were fun to watch.
  2. That's awesome! I like all the old Marvel tees through the Bi-Centennial period. Nice idea to frame it.
  3. People like Grell?? These were just names that I'd never heard or read negative comments about art-wise. Now I'll take Grell off that list based on your response.
  4. Mike Grell? Bob Layton? Dan DeCarlo?
  5. Archie's "forbidden" relationship with Ms. Grundy should be interesting. I'm still disappointed that almost nothing except names and places will hold true to classic/traditional Archie, but I hope it gets an audience as that can only help the Archie brand. Break a leg!
  6. Any insight as to who Gus Lemoine was? The style is similar to Henry Scarpelli who was drawing/inking at DC during the period Gus Lemoine received art credits at Archie. Gus seemed to disappear following the Fast Willie title and a short time later Henry was at Archie. An aside, one of the Fast Willie letter pages (which had to be fake) had a letter from "Geri Lemoine".
  7. Price/value not withstanding there have been some great comics mentioned here. Hard to pick just one comic. I maybe like FF #166, but don't know if it works without the other issues around it. Omega is one of my faves, btw. I read the series pretty much once a year. No Master Of Kung Fu here? Again, difficult to nail down a single issue. Weren't the first issues of Firestorm and Machine Man also super good?
  8. The MJI's are sort of like having a backing board built into the centerfold which gave the comic additional support depending on how they were stored. Hope the ASM #129 comes back to your liking.
  9. EXACTLY. In So. Cal. You can't find anything to rent less than two thousand a month. That's the sheitty neighborhoods. But you get two or three electrical outlets. Don't overlook that.
  10. This post in particular gave me impure impulses. Thank goodness I can still be affected in such a fashion. Hail Satan.
  11. What? I know a guy in the Dakota's named Bob Wire. Collects ASM. Might be the same person. I'll vouch for him if need be.
