  1. I have never seen this issue ever. A Gil Kane cover to boot. This is why I enjoy this forum. Awesome (thumbs u
  2. I am really sorry to hear that. Hang in there, and please keep posting.
  3. Yep. There's always the super secret chatroom thread. Back on topic, both of you. What was the topic?
  4. I always thought it was pretty cool to come across a letter from a "creator". It let's me know they were passionate about comics as a fan. Now, does this need to be noted on the case?
  5. That's so cool to see all those books, and to see them displayed against the wood. Very nice!
  6. You should post front and back cover scans in the grading section to get feedback on this. From the photo it looks like mostly the spine and staple areas are the weak points. Great book to just "happen" upon!
  7. Nice books! As for Chili, I don't know how you find these in such nice condition. I think its interesting Marvel was reusing covers on such a short series run. From what you posted 13 & 23 are the same. Additionally 1 & 24 and 3 & 26 are the same cover.
  8. I miss the days when toys that could launch sharp projectiles were available in the marketplace. What tripped the firing mechanism? I've never seen these particular cars before, cool stuff!
  9. Why does the printing at the top of the comic look "stretched", or is that an effect of the scan?
  10. Daredevil 7 is a key (red costume). And I'll shamelessly plug Daredevil 16 as a key or at least semi-key as it is a Spiderman crossover with the first artwork of John Romita on Spiderman. (thumbs u # 18. First appearance of Gladiator. # 42. First appearance of Jester. # 81. First appearance of Black Widow. Lots of important issues between #100-200.
  11. Seeing this made my day! All those crossovers helped make BA what it was/is. A Dr Doom cover can't hurt even if he is a titular character. FF always gets a point for a cover or cameo.
  12. Really like the cover of DD 66. I don't believe I've ever seen it before.
  13. Agreed! Just realized that's the cover used for the DC Showcase Presents that reprints the first 19 issues of WH. The reprint does not do justice to the original.
  14. That Giant Superboy Annual looks awesome! I'm adding that to my WTB list!
  15. . Yeah, dad was always more interested in his veggie bowls than world domination.
  16. I hadn't noticed before that CGC grades both covers. Interesting as I've only seen one double cover before, so did not know there were this many, relatively speaking.
  17. Read a bunch of Phantom Stranger # 13 - 37. Pretty cool stuff. Will read these again once I've got each issue of the run. Good art and the stories are engaging.
