Joey has 3 other submissions of mine that he dropped off at the same time that got put under his account so can't see progress but when all these get back I will be done submitting.
This is the first post regarding movement on a Value submission I have seen in some time. I have a sub that has been SFG since mid-July. Maybe I will actually see those books again! But probably not.

Does anyone else dislike that the turn around times are listed in "working days"? For example the books I sent in August 2021 for a simple reholdering, which is listed as 113 days. If I do the math and assume no holidays (which there were holidays), then I divide 113 by 5 and times by 7 to get more than 158 days. Adding in numerous holidays and the 113 days creeps way into the 160(s).
Also, I am assuming the "turn around" clock begins once they actually scan the package (maybe more than a month after it is received). Please correct me if this is not the case.
This means the 113 day "turn around" time could easliy be closer to 200 days.
I suppose this is just the "cost of doing business", however, it is definately a strong factor in why I don't submit a lot of books for grading. I have a ton of books that I would like to grade, however, my impatient nature (and the sick feeling I get in my stomach whenever I hand my treasures over to the USPS, knowing I will not see them again for who knows how long), cause me to refrain from submitting (unless absolutely neccesary.
Am I alone in these feelings???
Doesn't bother me. I just figure around 22 business days a month and go from there. The TAT's are such a rough estimate anyway, it's barely relevant. I'll get them when I get them.

I have been charged for 7 submissions in the last 2 days. Like 4500. No emails yet. .

They just hit me for $3500 yesterday as well (for Nov-Jan submissions) - maybe their 1st Quarter revenue is looking a little light.
$1800 here!

I've purchased a few things. Grading is suspect at best if graded at all. For me a good chunk of the sellers chase me away quickly with awful, loud music and ridiculous over-hyping. Everything's a 'Steal' and 'Fire'. Having said that I was recently approved as a seller and may toss some box fillers up at some point and see how it goes. No music and grading every book as accurately as I can.

I would love to see folks include a picture of the book they are referencing and maybe an explanation or a link to ebay sales to back it up.
Just typing 'Avengers 6'....not particularly helpful.

More nonsense!

Bat Out of Hell is certainly in the top 5 of records I've listened to most in my life, front to back. There's not a bad note on it. RIP my man.

I personally disagree with all this 'those people should not be sending those books' nonsense. Anyone can send anything they want and don't need approval or need to justify it to anyone, It's their money.
