I purchased it around 10 years ago and recently submitted the book to CGC;

Purchased a high dollar book from Eric, graded properly and packed great. Would def buy with confidence again

Another thing to consider is that another really nice AF #15 CGC 4.0 ow with no Marvel chipping sold for $13,400 on CC in June. I recognize that there were a few 17K sales but those were outliers with the rest of the GPA data for this. So looking at it that way, this 4.0 sold for about what it should have.

 

I was thinking the same thing. That price is pretty much right at the 12 month average.

 

Those two sales for $17k do seem kind of randomly high. I suppose we'll have to see what the next 4.0 goes for.

Is anything random with Af15?

 

The last 3.5 went for $15,535 and the last two 3.0s have averaged $13,000, which makes the two "outlier" 4.0s that went for $17k seem right on target.

I didn't have the money to spend but the biggest steal of the small batch of GA CGC books was a USA Comics 14 7.0 ow/w(3rd highest graded) sitting at 2000$, unfortunately I am locked in a time payment situation and it wasn't possible.

LCS by me has a 7.0 ow/w extremely clean for 3,000$. Wonder if thats a steal now.

First off before you open the spoiler to reveal the grade look closely and think about the grade you would give it and post the grade you would give based off of the cover alone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Trust me even if you opened the book and rays of sunshine sparkled out you'll never think the inside would give it this much of a bump!...

Wish I knew. My LCS had nosebleed high grades of 90 through miller DDs maybe two months ago. Next time I'm there I'll take a look for 107

Sweet copy. Pence copies should be worth just as much as US versions.

I've seen light/faint sub creases hit 6.5 7.0.

Dear Lord. I keep looking at that Cap 1 expecting to see "Reprint" on it somewhere, because my mind can't accept that its real. Unbelievable. Wow!

Here's a recent purchase, I'm quite happy with the book.

 

Picked up a DD 1 from Theo and the transaction went super smooth and super quick. A++

Spiderturtle your 7.0 is insane and looks like a crease on the bottom is keeping it out of 8's way.

The 7.5 is sweet as well, I was after this exact book awhile back from Bob storms, would of cost me 17k than. Good thing i said no. NOT!

7.5's are now almost 70k books, this is really awesome and great for the AF#15 collectors. Love this book. Freaking don't have one right now but going to try soon for one : )
