Awesome collection Captain Kirk, and here I thought I was a completist. This just show I still have a long ways to go before calling my collection complete.....
As a side note (and I'm not thread crapping or anything) but shouldn't this thread be in the copper section, a lot of people would be very happy to see all your hard work.
Another question, you gonna have them slab?

You know, I maybe in the minority here (ok, maybe I'm standing alone) BUT I hate this whole exclusive idea thing....... I started reading NWM in issue 2 and liked it. So I decided to hunt down 1 & 3. And now I have decided to put NWM on my pull list (heck,I'm even trying to hunt down 2nd prints) but now with all this show exclusive (blue, orange and TB) it's crazy.......
I understand the orange is for the CBLD, trying to get donations, and I'm all for that. But if youd know that the comic is hot, why make the print limit to 500. With a limit of 500 your just feeding the secondary market. Maybe make the limit to 750 or 1000 or 5000 even, that way everybody (including people that didn't make it to the show) would get a chance to buy some, plus making more donation and not feeding the secondary market for ........
This is just me ranting.....been trying to get an orange or blue or TB for the last few weeks or so and still nothing....anyway move along people nothing to see here........

IMHO I like the Agent 355 taking the amulet theory. A virus would have taken a long time to reach every male on the planet,even if its transferred by air. When the series started and all the male died, it was all at the sometime. No virus has that much effect globally,so it's got to be the cause of the plague to be magic, thus the amulet.
But then again, magic would have some border limit on earth, since the astronaut weren't affected by it.

Congrats on the platinum sig, with Jerry's signature.... I know I've been trying to get a plat 9.8 but they all keep coming back as a 9.6..... Also Jerry's sig is really hard to get, since I think he only does one or two con a years (if ever) congrats again

This book is good, but lets not kid ourselves, its got too many variants to be "the next WD"

The thing is, it's hard to not use WD as an example when talking about hot modern books.

Being a modern comic book collector, I'm seeing a pattern from most collectors, it seems almost every new modern books that's coming out (especially from Image) is being compared with Walking Dead (especially #1) Revival, ToT, Saga, Bedlam, GP
If you like the book, enjoy it as it is, and not as it will be.........

Do you guys have some sort of masters list or something that tells us folks what's coming out next week, next month? I think the store that I'm dealing with is going to be pretty annoyed at if I keep bugging him every day just to see if he has some phantom variants.

Comickaze has them up now. limit of 3, buying only one makes it steep due to shipping but if you are getting 2 or 3 the price with shipping isnt 2 bad. 1 book with shipping is like $18, but if you buy 2 it's $30 shipped, buy 3 and price for book is a little bit better. Granted is Graham Cracker gets more thats ideal as they seem to be the least on the internets at this point.

I don't understand what's all the fuss is all about. Yes I know about the Bedlam craziness. I know that the NYCC was/is supposed to be an exclusive. Yes, I'm also one of the people that jump the gun. I brought one copy from here and another copy from my LCS, and yes both were same prices. Do I regret it, maybe (ask me again after a few months). But people seems to loose sight of things here. It's still is an EXCLUSIVE. Either they only printed 500 or 1000, it's still an exclusive. If you brought it at the con, or at your LCS, or maybe a few months from now at your LCS, it's still is an exclusive.
As the preview said, they only have a limited number, so it's still an EXCLUSIVE.

I still don't get why some producer would fork out money for a series with only ONE issue out Give it a few issues (heck just finished the series, it's only 4 issues) and see if people really like it.
Everybody seems to treat this as a WD#1
I would presume that the producer would have had long discussions with Grant Morrison and knows the whole story. He wouldn't have picked up the book, read it, and decided to make a movie. It doesn't work that way.
even if the producer knew the whole story and talked with Grant, that is STILL a BIG GAMBLE.......

No worries man....the line between copper and modern comics tends to shift between person to person. If you're not getting them slab, I would recommend that you store them in one of those hard plastic. (CGC has a service of slabing books BUT not grading them)
