  1. Still watching the show although Gotham remains at the top of list ahead of this and Arrow.

Spoiler Question in case you haven't seen the last episode -

When Flash is carrying Plastique over the water to dump her body - how does she not burn up at that speed? The close up shows her hair gently blowing. Maybe an easy answer, just curious.

    I think.....

Flash's speed wasn't as fast as to not trigger Pastique's into an early detonation. As for her hair/face/body glowing... well I think it was her only body building up to detonate. Remember those small balls that she threw at the General and his men, they were glowing the same way

    Again, I think......

  2. not enough stores in Canada Larry!!!

    Hand pick me one.

A "real" brick & mortar location that answers emails daily & is coherent to today's market.

It can't just be a boob with a Diamond account being puppet ed by a boardie.

NICE...... when is the release date on those??

  3. hmmm.... I wonder if any other "Fatal Attraction" would have this "blue hologram version"???

On another question : why didn't CGC just labelled it as a "printing error"??

I have a complete slabbed set (SS, I might add) and they really are a great set. It took me well over 5 years to have a complete set. :acclaim:

All in all GREAT LOOKING BOOK... and If I may add "quite ballzy" :boo:

  4. I did not know about the MOS 17 2nd print being in a 20 pack, thanks for the info! I'm not sure what raw copies go for, I thought I saw a mention on this tread about one copy going for $70, but that's all I know. I paid a pretty penny for my 9.8 MOS 17 2nd, time will tell if I paid too much or if I got a bargain, but I slept on it before purchasing it and enjoyed every penny I spent on it.

    $70 :flamed:doh!:pullhair::o

well there goes my dream of owning a MOS 17 2nd print

  5. Finished reading and here's what I think about the last page......

I'm thinking that the reason for the split would be for the safety of Hazel...... Maybe, Marko will start running from different places to throw off any bounty hunters or the army... while Alana and Hazel go to the other directions.....

Remember: Not all split is due to parents not loving each other

Or... maybe I'm just totally wrong :makepoint:(::ohnoez::screwy:

  6. I don't think it has been confirmed. Some feebay sellers are claiming a 300 print run. Given the RRP incentive was less than 500, 300 does not seem far fetched. There are only a few active listings online at the moment.

I'm resisting the urge of buying a raw and will just purchase a 9.8 slabbed copy for my run.

when did the 19 diamond came out?? :shy:

  7.

After I got my MOS 17 second printing, I briefly listed my 3rd and 4th printings of Superman #75 on eBay to try and recuperate. I also had borderline buyers remorse for Superman #75 4th printing. The morning after listing these books, I found that I couldn't part with them, these were my books after all, so I told myself not to panic and I removed the listing.

After seeing these links, I decided to search out other 2-packs and bundles online. Seeing the condition there were in and how the comics were tightly pressed together made me appreciate my Superman #74 4th printing even more.

Just a quick question: Superman 75 3rd and 4th...were they only available thru the 2-pack bundles?? or were they also available at the LCS??

  8. Just did an e-bay check on Saga #1 (1st print) and it's close to $80 now..... and it still has a couple of days left.... it might even pass $100 mark.......

my question is : WHY??? :fear:

Why all of a sudden a big surge on this book?? Is it really THAT popular??

I remember seeing a couple of books in my LCS for $10 a piece.... and thinking that it WAY too expensive.....

Dude, where have you been? It's been that hot for well over a year.

Don't usually check Saga #1 on ebay.... been busy with kids lately (and by lately, I meant 7 yrs now)

    How many kids?

    2 boys (7 and 4 yrs old)

and they are a handful .... you can relate right Jeff??

10,4 and 3 but I still have time to check Saga prices.

Still trying to perfect multi-tasking :wishluck:

  12. Did anyone check out the Saga #1 Silver/Mexican variant in the Copper/Modern Sales? Looks neat.

    Yes

He's had a few for sale. That price is a little high for my taste, but I like the colors.

same here.... It has been going down in price for a couple of days now....

And this one on ebay with just 1 1/2 hr left, is still at the $20 mark..... I'll see it goes up in the next hr...

    SAGA 1 MEXICAN

  13. I've been trying to put together a Doomsday/Death of Superman collection of printings for some time now. Here are all the printings and my experience searching for them:

    Doomsday Cameo Issues:

    MoS 17

    SM 73

    AoS 496

    Action 683

These all had second prints and can be hard to find, especially MoS 17. A raw copy sold for $70 on ebay a couple of days ago

    Doomsday Seven Part Story

MoS 18 had five printings. The second print is fairly easy to find. I know a lot has been made of the fifth printing lately but I've found printings 3 to 5 equally hard to find. None of them are too rare but being a key issue it's nice to have all five printings.

JL 69 had four printings. The second is fairly common, third and fourth prints are very hard to find

SM 74 had four printings as well. The second is easy to find. The third is relatively hard and the fourth can be very hard to find.

AoS 497 had three printings. Once again the second isn't hard to come by but the third printing is.

Action 684 and MoS 19 had three printings and all except for the first are very hard to find, especially the MoS 19 third printing.

SM 75 had four printings but all of them are very easy to find. Mass produced being Superman's death and all.

Hopefully this helps someone in their hunting. It's a fun collection to try and put together.

Thanks for the list....I've been collecting the death of superman....just when I thought I was done, I've found out that each ones has at least a second printing..... And the hunt continues.....

  14. That's what I thought. Spend all your money on the covers and leave the pages blank since they'll be slabbed anyway.

Those type of books are a scientific experiment to see how long it takes for 40-year-old-stereotypes to realize there's nothing on the pages inside.

Once in a while, a 15-year-old accidentally opens a copy looking for more T&A, and notices the blank pages... but thankfully, they just think it's a draw-your-own sketchbook.

But don't tell anyone... the scientists have an office pool going.

    lol

Grimm Fairy Tales and Notti and Nyce are pretty much targeting the same demographic.

    don't forget BDI

    :shy:

  15. OK...moving on

I don't have the time to read 23+ pages of comment about Agent of SHIELD. So I'll just post what I think about the show.

I think it was an alright start. When we all saw the preview, alot of people (me included) thought that the dude that saves the lady from a burning building was actually Luke Cage. Even during watching the episode, I was hoping that his name would be Luke. I like it that I was wrong. I also like it when the story surprises you

(well it did me) The story got a nice twist in the middle act.....

Also Sky is hot... and she is defiantly hiding something.

Anybody thinks that the real Agent Coulson really died during the Avengers movie, and this Coulson is a clone??
