  1. In fact I heard he sold Combiner his 19 and 27 and lives down the street. It's a shame.

Yes definitely a big shame...... hm

You know anybody who's going, and has an extra copy of issue #1 in 4th and 5th prints?

those are the only two im missing..........Found a #6 in 2nd print today

Tried sending you a PM but you don't accept any PM

    So....

    Send me a PM

  2. Thanx krighton... Unfortunately I need the copies really fast, i'm trying to get a set all CGC SS at the NYCC. And being located in Canada, shipping is a bit slow up here.

I'll just have to try harder to look for it. There is still a few more store I haven't been to, althought they're a bit of a drive from where I live.

    And the hunt continues.......

  3. Agreed..... Out of all the annuals that came out this week, GL was the most fun read.

Superman, Batman and Flash annuals you need to read the monthly books to understand what's going on, but in GL, it explains it very well, and I can just jump in and enjoy the story.

When I was reading , it did reminds me of the Sinestro Corps special. Fun read indeed.

  4. my LCS wants $25 each.

    They are probably confused.

There should be 2 regular covers 50/50. 1 by the artist and the Robot Chicken cover.

In addition there is a 1:25 BW variant of the artist version that was announced at the same time as the RC cover. They probably have them confused and think the RC cover is 1:25.

    Or they are just :censored:lol

where did you get your info???

At first, I thought that the RC was a chase variant like Spawn 222 or WD 101 (Ghost) but now your saying, it's just 50/50 ratio?

  5. the greatest TV dramas (and this ain't remotely one of them) have about a 5-7 year shelf life before they either go into decline or when the brilliant creators bring them to an end. so i'd say the show will keep chugging along for another several years, the series will keep on but the buzz will be gone and if the art continues to deteriorate i'd say #200 seems like a logical guess as to when it'll wrap.

another TV series that comes to mind is BSG (BattleStar Gallactica) (the re-mix version) it was really hot when it came out...even after a few season it was still hot..... and it really ended with a BANG (with me anyways) BUT Sci-fi tried to keep the ball rolling BUT couldn't (CAPRICA anyone)

I think the same will happened for WD, I'd give WD TV about 4-5 seasons (if the writing continues it's pace)

THE only reason why WD is SO HOT right now is because of the TV series, once the TV series is gone, WD would be lucky to hit 200

  6. Vengeance of Bane is a title to keep a very close on eye on, imo, in terms of market response to films.

It's a tough call on whether not to sell VOB now, or wait until after the film has been released to the public. The reaction to this film, instead of the hype leading up to it, may actually have a greater influence on any market movement, similar to the Avengers.

I decided to go early and I've got a copy in the MCS auction as we speak. It finishes the day before the movie opens so we'll see.

sell it NOW..... as soon as the film comes out and the hype of the film dies down VOB will return to it's regular price....

it reminds me of Amazing Spidey 300 (1st Venom)(raw was I think $100-$150 maybe even more)(IMHO), it was skyrocketing before Spiderman 3 (the movie) came out... but after the movie, and the hype died down, it went back to $50-$75........

  7. I brought mine for $100 about 2 yrs ago.... and i thought i got ripped off (i still feel ripped off) but then again, i brought it from the actual artist (middleton, i think).... so i guess it's ok then

anybody knows what happened to middleton, he seemed to have "vanished" from the face of the earth (shrug)

  8. (worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)

wow ...just wow... and here i thought i have a complete Death of Supes (all 1st prints only)... i guess this proves that i need a lot more.... A WHOLE LOT MORE.

are you gonna slab those ones?? maybe even SS on some of them.

love your collected package man (thumbs u (in a collector's point of view)(man that still sounds gay)(not that there's anything wrong with that)(ok i'll stop typing and drooling now) :kidaround:

  9. Today I sold:

    Batwoman #0 - $17

    Batwoman #0 1:10 Variant - $16

I was thinking about that particular issue... it was supposed to be an ongoing series (or a mini series atleast) but since the reboot... it became a one shot series......OR did the new 52 continue on with the storyline???

also, how come the regular issue is more than the variant one ?? or was that just a fluke?

  10.

I don't think it has that of a short print (it has more than 10,000 print). It doesn't have the highest print either. I would just say it's in the middle.

The Reign of Doomsday arc SUCKED. The first 5 issues were good. It showed how each of the superman family lost to Doomsday. But when they showed who was behind it all ( "Doomsday Slayer" :roflmao: ) after that the story line just stinks.
