Deadline for SDCC?

I was able to get my money back through the Paypal dispute process. The seller did not respond to the case. Hope everyone else was able to do the same.

I will add this piece of information to the discussion. Prior to the seller's most recent sales thread, I purchased two slabs from the seller that arrived quickly and safely. However, a week or two after I received my items the seller sends me an email saying his Paypal account had been hacked or otherwise compromised and he couldn't access his funds. He said he still had the ability to send refunds and asked if I would be willing to resend payment to a different email address through Paypal if he refunded my original purchase. The request seemed suspicious so I ignored it, but in retrospect this was most definitely a sign of things to come given the problems that occurred with his most recent sales thread.

Just put in the dispute with Paypal. Also awaiting the outcome.

I will support the nomination. Paid for books on 5/15 and didn't hear anything until 5/27. Was then provided with a tracking number that shows the package has yet to be received by the post office. I was given tracking # EM 071 026 173 CA, curious if the same number was given to others.

Maybe we should aggregate the various glitches into one list to make it easy for them to fix? My biggest issue right now is that the online form does not calculate the correct shipping cost (which should be $0) when you choose the option to ship under your own FedEx account. This should be a fairly simple fix for the programmers, but it's been a problem since day one.

More money has been made off of Iron Man #55 than will ever be made off of Starlin's signature. There is a secondary market for comics and it's been in place for some time. If creators want a piece of the pie, they need to find a way to monetize their appearances at conventions by selling merchandise. I don't think charging fans for signatures (whether witnessed or not) is the right way to go about it though. All of these signature series books are ultimately ending up in the hands of fans. If you alienate your fan base by charging for signatures then you're cutting off your nose to spite your face.

While it stinks that this fan stiffed Jim Starlin, I'm not sure I see the rationale for his beef with CGC. He's upset that CGC would not help him locate this fan. Is CGC expected to keep tabs on each and every one of the hundreds of customers that use their service at a con? How would CGC go about finding this person once they dropped off their paperwork? If Starlin asked for the person's name, email, telephone number, etc. I can see why CGC might not want to divulge that information. Did Starlin look for this deadbeat himself or did he expect CGC to do all the leg work? He should absolutely be upset with the fan that promised to pay but didn't, but it seems he's more upset with CGC because he perceives they are making "big bucks" off of his signature.
