Nice! I'm signed up for the Kickstarter notifications!

Good luck with the launch of your graphic novel! How long will it be after you take your beta results and put it into the comic format?

That explains a lot of the signed fanzines and other outside the mainstream books I see for sale. I've been scrounging around for something that everyone doesn't get him to sign for an upcoming opportunity. So far, I have a Spyman #1, but a lot of the rest I can find don't look like great options (dirty or have a significant/noticeable defect).
At the time (2009) he said he has to put a name because he was tired of seeing his signatures turned around and sold on EBay. Which, I understand, because he signed my book for $5, and if I recall, I’d you bought something, he’d sign for free (I bought a couple calendar prints). Pretty inexpensive to get a significant autograph by a big time artist.
I don’t know when the CGC SS program started, but I’m assuming that he gets compensated decently to sign SS books with no name inscription.

Turned out really nice. I was shocked it came back that high, but not complaining!
I met him years and years ago and had him sign that NFAoS #1 because it's such a cool cover. This was when he wouldn't sign unless it was inscribed to a person - which was ok for me. I love seeing the ones where it's just his signature.

Great tale, well told and in true cliff-hanger style, I really want to hear about cross state intrigue and comics under a tarp on the back of a truck!
Man, I'm exited to revisit that tale. I'm going to practice my writing style for a few posts before I get into that one, it'll be a fun read!

I walked into my candy/card distributor once to find a weekend warrior dealer using a metal detector to scan boxes for the metallic inserts. When I complained, I was told it was common practice.
Holy cow, never thought of that!

I'm digging through my old photos from back then and will have some other stories to post - thanks for reading!

This story would be a lot cooler if I knew what a "chase" card was (other than the one I have in my wallet).
The chase cards are the chromium/holographic premium subset cards you can get out of a box of the non-sports cards. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm editing it now!

Dude! That's awesome - good luck for a future collaboration! I imagine working with someone else and coming together to create a story would be a lot of fun and open up a lot of interesting ideas.
