Arrow was on Hulu Plus, but only goes back about 6 or so episodes. Didn't see it on Netflix. I need to download the whole run of the show and burn it onto DVDs so I can catch up on what I have missed.

Not sure why you guys are bidding these up so dang much. Let the market settle down and the 1st and 2nd printings will also settle down. For what you guys are paying for these in raw condition they better have a chance at a 9.8 otherwise you are throwing money away. Not worth slabbing especially if you are looking at 9.2 or 9.4 on the grades, just leave them raw.

Freaking awesome. I also got the #100 Red Foil from the Black Friday sale but mine doesn't look 9.8. Maybe 9.6 or 9.4. Mine arrived with a very light scratch to the left of Lucille and the corners were just a bit blunted/frayed. In looking at all the ones I've seen on eBay, I'd say 80% of them have the same defects, at least from my observation. Did yours have any of that to earn that 9.8? The one I subbed didn't have any visible issues with it. The other one though I got would be a 9.4 at best so I ended up just selling it raw.

Looks like I will be having some nice variants on the way back from CGC. Managed to grade out the following in my latest sub. Walking Dead #1 Portland Variant CGC 9.8 Walking Dead #1 St. Louis Variant CGC 9.8 Walking Dead Governor Special ECC Green Foil CGC 9.8 Walking Dead #100 Red Foil Variant CGC 9.8 (From the Skybound Black Friday website variant limited to 250) I am pretty happy with these results, wasn't sure if 2 of them would come back better than a 9.6.

Day 23 Grading/Quality Control Yeah at this point I am done looking at any of my fast track or Standard subs. I figure one day I will get them back, one day.

I think I would rather spend that money on a run of 9.8 Walking Deads. I would take the TEC 27 and Spiderman 1 (not a Spidey fan so this would be flipped if possible.)

I have said it before and I will say it again, add a little tape and move the spine to the back of that copy and you are looking at an easy 9.6 sir. My copy that I mentioned and posted raw pics of a few pages back has already been cracked out of a slab and resubbed. Sitting still at verified with it being part of a coupon sub. Really hoping it comes back higher than last time, was a letdown that is for sure.

Now that I have started to get all of my copies of the WD blank in I have to say I really really like the cover stock they used on these. Can't wait to go crazy with getting artists to do sketches on these. I wonder how some of the mainstream Marvel and DC artists will feel about doing up a zombie sketch for me.

I think it is a safe bet that books are getting skipped over in the same tiers now. Don't know what in the hell is going on but this is clearly happening as of late.

If your store ends up with a ton of copies in NM or better condition I would be interested in getting 10 to 15 more. I would gladly pay you for your time and effort. Of the 5 stores down around me it looks like only 2 of them caught the alert. One ordered 5 and the other ordered maybe 10 to 15 copies. Both sold out before I could make it in after work.

I now have 31 total en-route and I hate to say that I paid an average of about $5.50 for each one. Honestly I think with how few stores actually ordered these and the ones that did I have heard now from multiple stores they got their order cut in half so I figure I will be able to get sketches on maybe 10 or so of these over the next couple years and I will sell off the rest to cover what I paid towards those 10.

They give away probably closer to 5000 so far on the two that have been released. A lot of issues though with the St. Louis ones being in even 9.6 condition at the point of them passing them out and then it was all down hill from there. I am thankfully I have a 9.8 SS on the way for a very good price to add to my collection of the St. Louis one and look forward to getting a bunch to get signed and subbed from Ohio and Nashville to bring to market on eBay or here since I can attend both shows.

Insane how so? They only gave away like 50 or 500.... Ok looks way more like 5000+ since even when they ran out of them they took down peoples names and addresses and shipped out 2nd printings. These 2nd printings are going to be the interesting ones with how few of those they shipped out. If any boardies are gonna be at Wizard World Ohio or Nashville I will be onsite and look forward to actually getting a copy or two the old fashion way.

From looking around online at results from people who have had this happen and have tried to file a claim the USPS will say sorry we showed we delivered it so you are SOL. I will escalate this to the Postal Inspectors at the end of the week to put some heat on my local office if they don't get back to me. I left a nice letter for my mailman saying this today since there is no way in hell he delivered to me at the time tracking states he did.

With my damn work schedule it makes it tough to go into the local shops during the week and this past weekend I had to head out of town. I made it into Comic Book World to let Doug know to keep any eye out if someone walks in trying to sell this to them.
