  1. It's there but extra steps that will hopefully be eliminated . Step 1. Find the Title of the book (Amazing Spider-Man 1963 2. Click the issue #1 3. Scroll to desired grade (universal 2.0) 4. Click the V arrow 5. Scroll past the live listings, Scroll past the graph 6. Click the V arrow beside the High/low price record. 7. Scroll to desired year 2019 and click the > arrow 8. Results you are looking for
  2. Ask greggy nicely to pay for it.
  3. Just in time for you guys to all panic that Clink auctions are ending
  4. I'm on an annual schedule for this show
  5. Unfortunately all I have at this time. (Books were raw). No idea on the statue numbers. Ontario, Canada.
  6. Break in occurred last night they stole a bunch of high end raw books including a hulk 2,4, 180,181 and a bunch of statues left the store a mess. Be vigilant out there should something like the above pop up.
  7. Come at me bro . I'll legit the day someone tries to cross over/cpr a book and complains when they don't get the result they are looking for.
  8. You bought it at a discount (I'm assuming because it's PGX) so when you go to sell it, sell it at a discount. What happens when you crack it and any of the above happen? You'll be SOL.
  9. Leave it alone. Essentially no good can come from cracking it...sure you could attach a repo but you are not going to get a grade bump or any material gain. If you crack it the following could occur: Missing pages (ya they say they aren't but we know they can't count) Missing coupon (see above) Resto (see above) PageQuality will very likely change to brittle or slightly brittle If you need it to feel more complete just tape the repo to the case
  10. I didn't think you were allowed to charge a surcharge on CC. http://www.ncsl.org/research/financial-services-and-commerce/credit-or-debit-card-surcharges-statutes.aspx (which ironically say both NY and Texas have laws against it).
  11. If we as the market put a push for it of course they would. See changes to restoration, tape, cases etc.
  12. What more does a qualified label provide that a notation couldn't make such as "coupon missing from page". Be nice if CGC had started with just one label colour and added the proper notation so the gap between resto and unresto books wouldn't bee so large
  13. Of course not. It's why we see a large variation in pricing because you can have an ugly 1.5 or a pretty looking 1.5. There is a significant difference between a 1.5 and a 1.5 incomplete.
  14. Why? A defect is a defect. No need to pretend what the grade would be if the defect wasn't there.
  15. You can call nonsense all you want but every attendee at the show that walked by CGC would have seen it. It was around the corner from the "SLAB YOURSELF" banner. We were told it was an outside marketing team that created the banner...whomever at cgc approved it should be fired for the cluster that will ensue.
  16. Yes it was a legitimate 10' banner at the CGC booth. It was used as a back wall for part of their booth. With the other image being a picture of Paul grading a Hulk 1 as seen here https://www.cgccomics.com/comic-grading/about-cgc/
  17. I'm sorry if this was me. I love going to the big cons to talk to the people in person who I speak with online on a regular basis. half the fun of cons is the social aspect.
  18. Just got back to the room after a night out in the town from the greatest guy from the west coast. I didn't know greggy could cook that well but the triple level brownie sundae that my wife ate was unbelievably delicious. I wish you lived closer to me
  19. If you need any further encouraging words. I harass them about once a week with nonsense and they still take my calls. Walt and Jay are good guys in the hobby.
