We've taken the plunge! Jim and I are pleased to showoff our new website. We will try to keep the slab scans up to date as to what is available but the even more important thing would be to sign up for our emailer (we won't spam you I promise) but we will inform you of things like opening up on a Saturday, new collections and upcoming cons etc. Check it out

There are quite a few acolytes here that can not fathom CGC ever making a mistake... "not the same book" "of course creep engine is good for the books" "no onsite grading doesn't slow down TATs" I'm all for a good ribbing, and if anything let's bring up SB's IG account today, but to pretend that the same mistakes or worse haven't happened here and some won't defend CGC tooth and nail that they are perfect is silly.

Is it really that much worse than the time(s) cgc has shipped packages worth more than the average yearly salary to the wrong address? Is it really that much worse than the time(s) cgc has encapsulated books backwards, upside downs, and backwards upside down?

No formula all book by book basis. A married wrap on a 9.8 is a lot worse than a married wrap on a 0.5. A married wrap is a lot worse on a Walking Dead 1 than a Cap 1.

Or if you resubmit the book a few times maybe it gets a blue label... (guy claims he pressed the book and corrected the spine)

Oh ya if you yank from pulls then I totally agree it is wrong of the shop.

I don't play in the new books...but I don't see why it's an issue. A shop orders in 20 copies of a book (15 of those go to pull folders). The orders close off and the book becomes stupid hot (we'll call it TWD193). The 15 allotted pull folder books go into their respective pulls, why does the shop need to sell the next 5 at cover price when the book is selling for 10x that?

Sorry Mr. dealer I had the money but I lost it all after posting the , so I can't pay you. No I'm not sure how I lost it all or where it all went but I made sure to close my bank account, have them shred the documents and wipe their database. Thanks for understanding that you won't ever be able to sell the book for as much as I agreed to pay you.

We discussed this among a few friends the other day. Was a bit different than your situation as it was an ff book with an avengers label. Given all things equal (if you had two identical books and price) the majority of us would rather the standard label than the marvel label.
