  1. Bahahaha reading this just made my morning.
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-CGC-1-8-SS-Signed-Stan-Lee-Origin-amp-1st-Spider-Man-/223468265234?hash=item3407bf1f12%3Ag%3AxTEAAOSwPrdb-Pk3&nma=true&si=N3tThdikfeHDEdFHqNvBIU7VR30%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  3. I'm shocked...both Roy and I have a drink in our hands...so unusual for Chicago LMAO I'm pretty sure that is still your I'm going out shirt you still wear to this day.
  4. Lots of 9.8s on google images. Don't see any 10.0s but did see this one.
  5. Oh ya if you yank from pulls then I totally agree it is wrong of the shop.
  6. I don't play in the new books...but I don't see why it's an issue. A shop orders in 20 copies of a book (15 of those go to pull folders). The orders close off and the book becomes stupid hot (we'll call it TWD193). The 15 allotted pull folder books go into their respective pulls, why does the shop need to sell the next 5 at cover price when the book is selling for 10x that?
  7. Sorry Mr. dealer I had the money but I lost it all after posting the , so I can't pay you. No I'm not sure how I lost it all or where it all went but I made sure to close my bank account, have them shred the documents and wipe their database. Thanks for understanding that you won't ever be able to sell the book for as much as I agreed to pay you.
  8. We discussed this among a few friends the other day. Was a bit different than your situation as it was an ff book with an avengers label. Given all things equal (if you had two identical books and price) the majority of us would rather the standard label than the marvel label.
  9. Jim83 + GSX purchased. Shipped on time as promised. Great transaction.
  10. You are here! Maybe next year I'll come down.
  11. I can't wait for CGC to start offering incentive variant labels
  12. Unfortunately not directly. But we have a small section on Bob Storms website (location needs to be set to Canada): https://highgradecomics.com/article.php?dynamic=search_results&title_starts_with=&title_contains=&issue_numbers=&publisher_id=0&genre_id=0&age_id=0&pedigree_id=0&tp_grader_id=0&min_grade_index=0&max_grade_index=0&min_price=&max_price=&location_id=4&submit=Search
  13. Leave Toronto and head to Pickering. We at Guardian Comics have all the real slabs not these moderns that came out last week and are CGC 9.4s.
  14. My bid is currently at $375. Next bid is $400. My Max bid is $600. The new bidder comes in and makes max bid of $602. Since that bid is above the $25 min increment ($375 to $400) it's a valid bid. I don't like it but it's the way she works.
  15. no my high bid was $600. Which I placed on May 23rd at 2:25:30 pm ET
  16. my $600 bid (May 23rd) brought it to $302...where it sat for a few days until the 25th when someone bid it up to $600, and then the 28th brought it to $602. If they had a max bid of 502 shouldn't my 600 bid have brought it up to that immediately when I bid that on the 23rd?
  17. Yes the lots start closing in 90 mins and that most action happens at the end. I don't expect to win much (if anything) just trying to figure out how their auction process works as it's odd that leading the entire time I can be outbid a week later by $2.
  18. This is another one of mine. I bid $600 on the 23rd and haven't touched it since. But now outbid by $2.
