Basically there was about a half dozen dealers. Worldwide is the reason he was caught, he texted a number of us his photo. Jim saw him walking the floor and followed him while another member got Stephen. His MO was to steal a whack from a vendor and bring them back to his daughter, they would then peel stickers off and sell some of the books back to other vendors. When he was caught his backpack was stuffed with about a 3/4 of a short box, all books taken were raw (that everyone knows of). Vendors who he took from include but by no means limited to: Dale, WorldWide, Kristina's, and a couple others that I don't know their booth name.

Maybe if they missed the trimming the first time you could send it in and they'll miss it on the third time

So this book just sold again on Clink this past week and hammered for $120k. At first you are like what you talking about...then when you look closer you'll see it's in a different holder. Did CGC miscall the trimming (like they've done in the past ala JIM83 fiasc, or did "they" miss the trimming). Either way, there is likely some upset parties.

There will be several facilitators that can help I'm sure (Gotham, Paradise, Twin Cities come to mind). Mind you doing it yourself is often cheaper and more fun...but letting them handle the process/shipping can be worth it.

may not be finalized, but given that they already have 2 shows that same weekend it may be tough for them. They've been in years past so hopefully they'll be back again this year.

Ya maybe it's "sold" to them haha. I just asked on behalf of a buyer looking for one around that range and Ms Scentsy told me "I believe it may be sold already".

@Canadiancomics This guy is the only guy's who's opinion really matters. If Joe doesn't think it's worth pressing don't do it (one of the reasons Joe gets my money), he could easily say yup I can press that and you could get a bump, but instead, he says don't touch it. As much as you'd love to get the bump instead if you decide to sell it, let someone else take the chance and sell the dream to them and charge an "unpressed" premium .
