I can send better pics upon request but all are 9.8 with white pages Books are now buy 1 get one Free!!! shipping is a flat $15 for up to 4 books Issue #12 is sold (shows in the pic sorry)
  2. As the Title says I have the complete run of Jack Kirby's Eternals available I feel that the average grade on this lot is 8.5. Please take a look at the individual scans of the books and judge for yourself. I am asking $450 delivered to the cont USA. first gets the books. I have additional scans of the rear covers if you PM me and you want to see them (there are 19 books so I want to limit the amt of space used. For the price I think this is a very nice collection. Paypal via goods and services for payment. I have been a long time member of ebay under the name Kevincwa with with a 20 year history of +++ Feedback. I have bought and sold books on this site as well. Thanks for your interest
  3. thx for holding it for me to work out additional deals
  4. I rarely grade anything NM/NM+ but taking a look at this collection, they are obviously unread, sharp corners, no finger prints on the glossy covers, only the smallest amount on spine stress or corner blunting on a handful the issues. don't take my word for it take a look at the scans and judge for yourself. I have seen similar sets sell on ebay for $270 + shipping, So I thought asking $250 delivered to the cont usa would be a fair asking price. You may be able to find a set cheaper but a better ungraded set unlikely. The majority of them in my opinion should be graded. Scans are of the front and backs of the actual issues. take a look and see what you think. Ebay sellers name is Kevincwa if you want to ck out feedback 20years of 100% feedback and majority of my transactions are comic books. thanks for your interest
  5. Figured I’d get back on page 1. Do tell the story of the scammer that wa on these boards hadn’t heard this one before
  6. You are absolutely correct. I should have known lesson learned! in addition to $rickyjamesfoo, David Leonard of Fulton NY on Facebook market place His gmail acct is earltippet@gmail.com if anyone knows of this d bag here personally they should pick their friends a bit better just wanted to get another cautionary tale out there I have to get back to that foreign prince that has 5 million in gold that he wants to ship to me and it’s only $88 via cash app
  7. I finally decided to move onto the 2000’s and sign up for a face book account I made my 1st purchase on their marketplace and saw a lot of somewhere around 120 or so books that seller was looking for 60$ sellers name there was David Leonard and address was listed as Fulton ny Collection included the last 8 issues of the 2000-2004 Harley Quinn series. This seemed like a good deal and David the seller was very quick to respond. He seemed to be willing to mail the books but seemed like he was a bit unsure of how to complete. I suggested PayPal or perhaps a personal ck. He responded he did not have a PayPal account and felt like I would be able to stop payment on a personal ck so he suggested cash app. we communicated several times that day he sent me a pic of the Harley books and he assured me if he had the cash that night he could get the books out in the am and he would send me tracking once the books were in the mail. i signed up with cash app and did as he requested forwarded (rickyjamesfoo) aka david $60 for the books and $28 for shipping 2 priority flat tate boxes.(figuring the great communication between us and the not too large of an amount to trust this seller. As you can guess that was our last communication and in the last 48hrs. I have texted him several x’s without any response from David. Didn’t take me long to figure out I’d been scammed by this seller. There is still a small possibility that I can file a claim with my bank debit account. Just wanted to put this out there as a cautionary tale of not jumping into something without recourse of getting your money back regardless of sincerity of the seller. Do not rush into things use your head regardless of how sincere someone sounds. Also if you have an opportunity to deal with David Leonard from Fulton ny stay away.
  8. highly recommended seller packaging is out of this world. ships quickly communication is top notch as well. thanks Jeff
  9. Damn nice pick up things are still out there if you are persistent. Right place /Right Time congrats
  10. Damn nice pick up things are still out there if you are persistent. Right place /Right Time congrats
  11. I was complimenting the difference between your purchase and flying doughnuts purchase. You obviously got a great deal and no one begrudges you doing so. FD also got a great deal but I just would have said I purchased these for $5 and let it go at that. Just my opinion that's all...…….
  12. This buyer gets it. Nobody begrudges anyone getting a great deal. F D if you had just left out the part where you talked a buyer down. It would have been fine. You obviously are big time as far as a seller goes. Setting up at Baltimore and having 800+ cgc books for sale is no small thing and selling 9.8 graded asm 300 for $2500 on this site shows me you are a very reputable seller. But somehow offering less than ask in this instance somehow seems wrong. It’s my opinion only but something I would not have done or at least brought it up if I did
  13. commenting about how you worked a seller down on a deal that already was a steal is not something you really need to do. Kind of reminds me of my uncle who was into antiques and he found a ceramic crock at a garage sale (probably worth $100 or so several years ago) for .50 he pointed out a small flaw and talked the buyer into .25 (kind of lost a bit of respect for him that day). I know sometime people get caught up in the art of a deal but seems a bit unnecessary …......just my 2 cents
  14. at a quick glance I'd say 5.0 with the possibility of a 1 point bump wit to 6.0 h a professional press. in the pic that shows the centerfold is the upper part of the book detatched from the top staple??
  15. Thanks for the pics. I was at this show on Friday overwhelming to sat the least what really was amazing was the amount of dealers who had $1 recent books and some as low as 50 cents (depending on how many you purchased. The sheer number of vendors. Maybe it’s because I live in buffalo ny and there is a report on one of our major cons in this forum from blowupthemoon report which took place this weekend as well. it’s like night and day I’ll be back to this one for sure. Very enjoyable for sure
  16. Blowie: great report as always! seems like the usual suspects as far as dealers and books are concerned. Thanks again
  17. I went to the Baltimore comic con this year and was amazed by the amount of dealers there and equally as amazed by the number of dealers selling $1 and some .50cent books depending on how many $1 books you bought. I certainly had a great time there and definitely plan on a return trip next year
  18. Blowie thanks again for your reports. Seems like I didn’t miss much. Usually like to see Bob C. And his 50cent books. Well we do have the Buffalo Comic Con Saturday this week. So expecting some more photos upcoming. great work as always. Congratulations on you Cgc award this past year as well
