  1. I'm personally not a fan of his covers.

I've yet to hear one person say they are a huge fan of his. Heck, even that they like it at all.

    Who's buying these up?

I would never knock his talent or style, it's just not for me.

Are teens buying them up? Kids?

My girlfriend. He's worked on a Neil Gaiman book and she started liking him then.

Does he have a strong female fan base? Or majority female?

I don't know really. She bought his poster of Rocket Raccoon because the thought it looked cool. Found it while I was looking around a comic shop with her.

  3. Neal Adams.

I thought it would be a good idea to get a remark from him......

30 minutes later after he had a quarrel with his (wife?) and chatted with a bunch of other people (never once speaking to me) all the while I waited with my hands in my pockets he finally finished.

When he asked if I wanted an inscription and said no, because I wanted to make a jam piece out of it. The face he made was less than enthused.

    Never again.

  4. Thanks everyone. The guy before me got a Rick and the person after me was getting a Michonne. While I'd love to have one of those as well I think the zombie idea was a lot cooler.

If anyone ever gets a chance to see Tony at one of these small shows like Derby City its a prime time for a sketch. Recently he wouldn't be sketching at conventions only pre-ordered ones. I was really surprised that he was doing it at the show at all. At Derby City he'd previously just done sketch cards too.

I was floored that their were times where no one would be at his booth for 10-15 minutes at a time.

At a big show that would be unheard of. It might be that people around here just don't care, I'm not sure. But I'll take advantage of it either way.
