  1. I just picked up some board to do some drawing. I'm looking to do a picture of my cattle dog and my brother's two huskies in We3 armor.

Question. . . what do you recommend for inks if I want to end up doing some color on it?

If anyone can answer. Sarfa who has been doing sketches in the modern sections art contests with me recommended the comic multiliners sp. Be sure to check ebay for those because they are cheaper than stores.

The cool thing is that you can add new nibs to them and add in new ink (whatever that thing inside of a pen is called).

  2. Today when I went into the LCS I've been hitting for years.....they told me there's a 1 comic limit for any issue.

This happened only after I walked up with 3 copies of Helheim. Keep in mind that I've been there on and off for over a decade and change....and each time I go in I purchase about 2-3 copies of everything I collect. I've never been told there was any limitation....I wanted 3 copies....2 for me......1 for a friend.

My take: the last few months speculators have gotten this store's radar buzzing about Panzerfaust, Sixth Gun, Helheim, etc....

Now they're giving me the stiff-arm on comics. D*CKBAGS....

I told the "manager" that if he wasn't interested in selling me the comics that I'd take my business elsewhere.

Furthermore that usually I come back and see the same tired issues on the racks weeks later...only they're more beat up than a hooker at mardi gras.

If you're in the business of selling comics, sell them.....don't hold back stock for others. If they're on a pull-list that's awesome, but if it's on the racks it's fair game.

Tired of these aholes making up sh*t.

Funny part is... I don't know if anyone has ever had a shop that actually listed on the door with a sign "limit X per customer".

Seems like most wouldn't have a problem if they advertised it, they seem to only do it when you go to check out. J

This being based on most of the things I read on here.

  3. Kara just announced on the Twitta that they'll no longer be doing eBay commissions, but will be listing them on their website, Twitta and FB

The same website where you send an e-mail and it takes 4 months for a response? :makepoint:

I wonder if they will be doing commissions for the Comic Con that the two of them are trying to get off the ground this year in Cincy?

I would think if they want this show to be a success they should be bending over backwards to do as many sketches/remarks and quick sketches as possible during the show.

    Smart. No Ebay fees :gossip:

  4.

How in the hell is this piece of "radio edit" cover up to 3K. :screwy:

    The Nowell brothers?

This is the only cover I've ever looked at getting. Sadly when I inquired Mark told me Charlie had traded it with an art gallery for something he wanted. I believe this is the original owner of the piece.

  5. I worked on this one all weekend. I mixed it up doing the loose pencils first, then coloring it. Once I had all my colors down I did the inking over top of that. A little different, but I like how it turned out. Might have to try doing it that way more often.
