Getting the trees taken care of is important. I know you care about GW, and I recall Kav mentioning how much termites contribute to GW. I know trees left down for a long time attract termites. I am positive you have an intimate relationhip with termites. They infect everything. Native freshwater trout won't hit on termites. I don't know about native freshwater pond trout. Never fished a trout pond. Seems like is no challenge.

I did not want to specifically call out "elder abuse" in my post, but, well, there it is. When a person of this age and public and well known stature seems to be making the hobby gossip pages at an unusual level, 9 out of 10 times somebody of nefarious intent is behind it for purposes of self enrichment.

The ever engrossing "news" that appears about the gentleman lately, has a distinct PR flavor, designed to keep him relevant, and by extension, used by others for monetary gain.

I had and have this question presented all the time about numismatic and philatelic items, due to assumptions by people that think I know something. I used to go out of my way to describe things (I still do when it is a dedicated youngster). I came to a point that I would tell the person that I don't buy what I appraise, because the market is ever changing and I would not want to mislead anybody. I would then suggest they go to a reputable site (PCGS/NGC etc.), where they would be best informed and up to date.
