  1. GreatCeasersGhost beat me to it with this one, but here's my copy:
  2. I loved the first movie, so I'm very happy the sequel is finally moving forward. I became aware of this comic a few years back, and it took at least a year of looking/watching before one finally popped up on eBay. I'm not sure why it's so seemingly rare:
  3. I bought a ton of these Captain America figures looking for a 9.8 candidate inside, luckily I was successful in finding one that was pressable into a 9.8:
  4. I foolishly sold a 7.0 copy with White pages several years ago before the big run-up. Like usual, I thought prices were steady and I could always buy one back at a reasonable price. A few months back, my LCS got a 5.0 in and had it in their showcase, where I looked at it every week debating about getting back in the club. This past weekend I was able to talk them down from their asking price to a price I was VERY happy with. Here's the copy in question:
  5. Finally got these back today...I had requested the sigs to be in black marker but I'm fine with how the gold looks on both:
  6. I'm quite surprised with the release of the new Dr. Strange movie trailer and the Marvel Legends preview of the movie action figures, that this book hasn't seen any heat or movement at all:
  7. I paid $230 for my complete, off-white/white coverless copy just a few years back, so I'm quite happy I got it when I did based on these price escalations. I had been buying complete coverless Silver-Age keys on the cheap for about the past 8 years, but I think everybody else is starting to catch on!
  8. I think the market has picked the Knull third print cover as the one to have.
  9. It seems like AF #15 is taking the same trajectory that the 1952 Topps Mantle card has recently. It was still within reach in lower grades to many collectors for the past 10-15 years, but in the last year or two it's completely it's shot up out of reach for many in the sports card hobby since it's considered one of the top grails in that collectible field.
  10. Bumping this thread to see what the current status/consensus is on Cap #3. I know it's still ranked below Cap #2 in this years Overstreet, which to anyone who buys/sells in the GA market knows isn't the case, and hasn't been for a long time. It's pretty much a given that Cap #1 won't slow down in demand due to it being his first appearance and an iconic comic, but has Cap #3 seen its demand wane or stagnate any now that the Steve Rogers version of Cap is not featured in the MCU films, which in turn means he's no longer in the public pop-culture consciousness?
  11. I'm curious to see how demand/prices for the second and third prints of Transformers #1 shakes out, looking at the CGC census, the amount of copies graded are quite a bit lower than the first prints it seems.
  12. I was watching an auction of a ratty coverless copy on eBay the past week, and I was quite surprised where it ended up at. I have a nice, off-white/white complete coverless copy myself, so I was hoping it would give me an idea as to what coverless copies would go for in this current market. I think I paid $250 for mine around 5-6 years ago. Here's the auction in question: https://www.ebay.com/itm/194211127014?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=lUmZ%2Bkc14sMMTlEsw2hqkBeaB5Y%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
  13. Anybody have a guess as to what a restored Extensive Professional copy would go for these days? I know it's so hard to tell what restored copies are worth when they have to be taken into account individually depending on the work done to the book. I'm trying to get a ballpark range on this copy for insurance purposes:
