  1. Very cool! I just recently read both of these, and the story was great!
  2. Welcome! Feels good, doesn't it? BTW, what does the label note say?
  3. Great pick up Zarduzi! That NM 98 looks to be at least a 9.2-9.4!
  4. not a bad looking copy for the grade. I'll add you to the list as soon as you post a pic. Came in today, once again thanks to Wayne-Tec: Welcome!! Great club to be in...I am still on that "high" since buying mine a few weeks ago. Love it!
  5. Looks like mycomicshop will have a Hulk 1 in the FR/GD (1.5) range up in its June auction: http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=83481
  6. Man, I wish! My....plan was to buy it raw, read it once (and take a pic of that splash page), and then send it off for grading. That "plan" didn't quite work out (if you saw the thread last week), so I ended up buying the book already slabbed (which was my ultimate goal anyways, so it worked out for the best). I am just so excited to have the book!!
  7. This arrived yesterday! My new favorite Best part is Jack Kirby and Stan Lee signed the splash page (sorry for the crappy pic)
  8. I just started reading Fantastic Four Essentials Vol. 3 (which covers FANTASTIC FOUR 41-63; ANNUAL 3-4) and man, this is GOOD stuff!! Wow...totally blowing away my expectations. I can see why this stuff is considered "classic". To be honest I was never a huge fan of Kirby, but after reading a few of these issues, I am a fan! AND it's in black and white no less!
  9. The show= Planet Comicon this past weekend, yes? I saw a WD #1 going for $600 on Saturday. Not sure on the grade but I'd say around a 9.4. I bought a FF #48 from him and THOUGHT about the WD #1 for about a minute, but that was it. My girlfriend of all people was telling me to buy it!! Anyways, I went back by on Sunday and it was gone. I asked if he sold it (because it was a really good price IMO) and he said he pulled it and was keeping it for himself after looking up the current price. Coulda, woulda, shoulda I guess...
  10. Your answer to that is in the spoilers posted a couple of pages back
  11. Good episode! Kinda sucks only 1 more left this season...already can't wait for Season 3!
  12. I agree! EPIC thread. Good work guys! Very informative and a great read.
  13. If you watch the preview during or at the end of Comic book Men, Rick gives Carl a gun to keep. Now if you want to know what happens, click here. Warning, this Spoiler Tells All!!!! As always, thank you! Spoilers are my kryptonite.... How do you get access to these by the way? From the way that read, you see the episode early? If you don't want to give up your secret, I understand
  14. My favorite episode of the season! I'm glad they decided to kill him off, as I hated the character. However, I think he died a martyr and his "voice" will continue to live on in the group. A good send off for the character, IMO.
  15. Dice you crack me up!! Good work man!
  16. If the description for the next show is right, mind you, they was absolutely right about "18 Miles Out," we're going to find out who this person is and I can tell you it's not Lori! Description for Judge, Jury, Executioner. If that spoiler is true!! Damn, I'm such a sucker for spoilers...I can't help it! Anyways, last night's episode was pretty good. I really hope Shane and Rick squashed their differences...but I don't think that's the case. I think it would have been a nice little twist if Rick would have left Shane in the bus; but alas, Rick showed he was the better man and came back and saved his . Shane owes Rick his life now, IMO.
  17. Does Lori get into that car wreck in the comic books? Just curious to see if the writers are going to have her miscarry.
  18. Great books! I still need to get these 2 bronze keys myself... Welcome to the boards, Sam!
  19. Love this issue! One of the best splash pages of all time, IMO: Spiderman getting shot! I thought that was so cool as a kid....really set the tone for the story.
