  1. Ooooooh. I assume something in the lighter earth shades will work? Or is darker better?
  2. Not really sure why some scans look cropped and some don't. They were scanned at the same sitting. I'm STILL trying to figure this darn thing out. Anyway, it's not like anything is hidden.
  3. Books were accurately graded, fairly priced and quickly shipped! Exactly what a buyer looks for in a purchase. Thanks, John -Scott
  4. Brilliant. I'll keep that in mind (thumbs u
  5. Please leave some feedback on our transaction (thumbs u -Scott
  6. Found these (c.1967) in our local antiques mall for $20 According to a guide I bought 5 years ago, I made a 500% "profit" (not that I'm selling them)
  7. "The highest graded copy and first appearance of one of Marvel's most beloved characters, Deadpool" He is? Well, at least somebody loves him
  8. I'm reading "501st: A Republic Commando Novel" Ive read Heir to the Empire trilogy about 8 times since I bought the Heir to the Empire in softback when I was a Sr. in HS. There are very few stories I like to read and read again than those. The Han Solo Trilogy is an excellent read too. I currently am reading The Long Emergency and The Delta Solution by Patrick Robinson. Is the newest edition of the Lost Tribe series out yet? I don't think they are yet. These are EBOOKS, right? Not printed? No it's the fate o the Jedi series Hmmm , are you sure? I know the "current" decendants of the Lost Tribe are in the F.O.T.J. series, but if you look at The STAR WARS Novels Timeline, the Lost Tribe of the Sith are listed 5000 years before A New Hope as Ebook Novellas. But as far as the F.O.T.J. "Conviction", I think the SciFi book club just shipped it to me. Yes, its the fate of the jedi series. I miscalled the name. Ive read the series pretty much all on my wifes Kindle so while I know the story and have enjoyed it although Im not good with the titles as I dont see a cover everytime I open it up to read. Just got "Conviction" in the mail a few minutes ago. I'm going to put 501st down (Karen Travis' books kinda bore me ) and start it.

That makes sense. One of these days I'll get a Kindle, though the traditionalist in me loves the feel of paper.

  11. Certainly not a 9.6... or even a 9.4, but here's my sample.

  13. I haven't attempted to sell any of my books yet, and I don't know how many more (if any) sites there are for selling books via auction and such. It's almost like that story I'm sure we've all been emailed at one point or another about everyone boycotting one specific gasoline dealership for a week and watching the prices drop as a result (I sure wish that could actually be coordinated). If everyone stopped selling for a week, or however long we think is needed, ebay may notice.
  14. (thumbs u My condolences on this latest quote; but look at it this way...(hopefully) it was a small price to pay in order to vanquish one of many thorns in the sides of honest sellers & buyers everywhere. You've made a dent in her deviousness, which she rightfully deserves. You're a hero in my book. (thumbs u $3,200. ..... But thanks. ........ .........
  15. After reading this post I get the impression that some people are addicted to the bidding process, I assume for the thrill of winning (which I admit is pretty kewl). But when the rush ware's off, they're left with bill they may not want to pay. Not all of them, obviously, just some. Though I am BIG TIME sorry The Silver Age is dealing with this hassle, I'm glad to learn a little bit more about the ups and downs of selling on ebay. Haven't tried it yet, but someday I'll be looking to unload many of my "non-essential" books in order to make room in my home. Good luck TSA
  16. I'm hoping this Golden Records reprint gets me into a sub-chapter of the club, at least
  17. These are my "reading copies." YUP, that's the golden record reprint. #117 & Annual #1 are in the best shape, but when the annual was trimmed by the printers, it tore 3 of the pages (one page has a fold at the tear that, when un-folded, actually extends outside the borders of the book... wonder what that does to the grade). I got all of these as part of a lot (except #117 and the annual) for around $45. Even in their condition I thought I did pretty well
  18. The Beyonder followed by the Owen Reece. Their powers can make themselves stronger than anyone.
