  1. Mike Royer is currently taking commissions, so I should point out that when he uses a lightbox, he pencils the work as he would ink it- meaning the pencils will, for the most part, look like finished work. He then inks over those pencils.
  2. Hear anything juicy? +1 I can eat CR/OW if it presents nicely. That's a beauty
  3. Inserts, tattooz, posters, trading card promos. Something else, I can't recall.
  4. I asked Mike Royer, and fwiw he said, "If Jack was a multi-millionaire, I'm the son of Hal Foster." His estate may have been worth a lot, but I doubt he had instant access to millions.
  5. Sir Galahad sent a courier pigeon to Castle Anthrax with a simple message, "Come quickly! Look sad."
  6. Looks like #71 was the last of the Silver Age. My #28 has an embarrassing miscut
  7. You asked if such a policy claim can be accurate if a book like this leaves the facility. I'm pointing out bad QC isn't exclusive to this company. Not the frequency in which it happens anywhere. Pointing this out after your post isn't baiting. Everywhere it happens, I agree. Such a claim shouldn't be on a site in order for it to be a policy customers and collectors should expect. Whether it's on the site or on a piece of paper thumbtacked to a cubicle wall in the QC dept., it's a policy not followed if a book like this leaves any facility.
  8. Initially I wasn't a fan of the PQ being added to the grade box. Now I hope they keep it in there so not to contaminate the older crop.
  9. Please keep the others in line, Jon Favreau
  10. For me it's the same issue with Voldy's ASP/VSP labels all being yellow now. I don't have a bionic eye, so if I'd see a wall of yellow labeled Voldy books at a convention and can't read the print, I'd either have to ask each time if it's witnessed or "verified", or point out each one I'm curious about all at once. If the folks behind the booths are busy, I'd move on. It's an unnecessary fix to something that wasn't broken.
  11. If this company isn't careful, everyone on Voldy's forum will stop sending books to CGC.
