  1. Didn't realize the thread became a daily number thing. Guess I'm set for a while
  2. The films Inglorious Basterds & Once Upon a Time in Hollywood give me the impression Tarantino would like to do a Sgt. Fury film, but I doubt MCU has the guts.
  3. Yes, and... This. I'd never get it graded, figuring SCS is a guarantee. Outer cover Inner cover
  4. I'm guessing you don't have an FF #15 in there. If you're not selling the Av#8 (or any of them), I don't see a need to spend the money to slab. I leave mine raw in a Mylite2/FB combo and it looks great. But thinks for sharing - They look very nice.
  5. Sorry for your loss. It's unfortunate he didn't know he had a small treasure, especially if there were medical bills.
  6. I think so many people and speculators missed many boats since the craze began, and are trying to get a head start on anything remotely key-ish, though I think Annihilus is a strong candidate to speculate on. For [possible] example; Thor #160. I haven't looked into it, but I hear it's hot. Is it the first meeting of Thor and Galactus? I don't recall one prior to this, but even if it is, so what? Unless the MCU meeting shakes the hobby like nothing else in recent times, so what? I just recently bothered to find out what FOMO means. In this current society I can see this being a real problem. Not real as in 'true', more like as in .
  7. Some books can't be included no matter how hard speculators try, simply because they have zero to offer. I find "everything" far more confusing than "some books and not others". People are speculating BIG on the most obscure points now. Sure, the first meeting between two 1st tier characters (MCP 117) can be a big draw, but speculators today are spending money like sooner or later one of the books will have the same impact on the hobby as Hulk 181 has.
  8. But then many would whine that they don't know where their stuff is in the process, and that they don't know when they'll be returned, and would demand that at least some time frame be thrown out there just so they have an idea.
  9. All correct, though it's more accurate that I purchased the slab, rather than, "had an ASM #1 slabbed..." Just in case someone wonders why I didn't look before subbing.
  10. Until they get so much backlog that their TATs increase. I hear that happens when submissions reach crazy levels. If they get a small percentage of what the CGC gets, of course their TATs will be better.
  11. Tim Vigil Monsters. The last one is a commission.
  12. Tales of The Zombie Vol 2, #1 (#4) pg 29 Rich Buckler
  13. From The Art of Comic Book Inking: 1) Mike Royer inks on Brent Andersons's blue lines- Signed by Mike 2) Steve Leialoha inks on BA blue lines- Signed by Steve & Brent 3) Brent Anderson's pencils and inks- Signed by Brent
  14. On the inconsistency; I've seen Avengers #32 labels with no comments and I've seen more recent labels say, "1st Appearance of Bill Foster". Have they started adding "Black Goliath" to the labels? I haven't seen an example of any.
