  1. That's how I befriended Mike Royer. Richard Rae was trying to sell Mike's pin ups as Kirby/Royer art (as in Kirby pencils on the page), and spit hit the fan. Mike registered to make 1 post and clarify his part in this, and mentioned where he lives which is 10 minutes from me. Best of luck with Sergio.
  2. If the Maxx 1/2 error made as much money as the black Venom error, they probably would.
  3. Because he claims trimming isn't restoration due to something being 'taken away,' not considering the fact that the straight edge and sharper corners have been restored.
  4. Me too. I guess he started a movement. So to speak.
  5. These cases are often hyped up to be 'impenetrable', usually by those trying to sell them. When someone unfamiliar with them sees what is being described here, they wonder how this can be. It isn't until someone looks into it that they learn the facts.
  6. Almost look like listings for covers only.
  7. I think they're both unattractive If only they could have done it this way with all DE.
  8. I'd think some Stan-signed comics were done just because he was considered by many 'casual' collectors/super-hero fans to be Marvel comics. "Stan Lee Presents:" at the top of countless splash pages saw to that
  9. Again, apologies if I missed these being posted.
  10. Having completed my ASM and Avengers runs, I'm focusing on the FF again, replacing issues I sold here several years ago, upgrading the ones I kept, and getting the tough ones that I was unable to get in those days- Once I got my #1 and replaced my 48-50 & 52, it made sense to focus on competing a Silver to Copper Age run. 2 & 4-6 are still going to be tough, especially now. I had a choice of getting all these, or trying to get one of those early ones. I went with these.
