  1. Link Here's today's panel. Identify the issue if you can. I'll be opening new panels and giving clues if no one gets it. Note: Winners may select the next Artist, Series, Character, era, combination, etc.; as long as it isn't too specific. Please specify with your answer.
  2. CGC = The Godfather CBCS = Gigli PGX = Leave Britney Alone!! CGC (Ah yes...the original.) CBCS (Um..well...ok.) PGX (WTF???!!!)
  3. Great. Thank you for the info. I'll add it to my database.
  4. 1163242020 originally graded 2013 I re-holdered it July from an old gen case. Thanks. Just so I understand. The old gen case was reholdered in July, and that case came back with newton rings. Then you send it back for reholdering again (~3 weeks ago) to remove the newton rings, and when that case came back (on Monday) it still had newton rings. Do I have that right?
  5. @I like pie I'm keeping a database. Can you tell me the certification # for that ASM308? I can't read it. Also, I assume the number didn't change with the re-holder? Thanks.
  6. This is interesting, and reinforces my belief that this problem is thickness-related with regard to the limited options CGC has for various sizes of books. Note 1) Both books are FF52. 2) They were graded a full month apart from one another. 3) One is SS and the other is Universal. 4) Both share near-identical newton ring severity. ----------- Certification Information Certification #: 1601348001 Title: Fantastic Four Issue: 52 Issue Date: 7/66 Issue Year: 1966 Publisher: Marvel Comics Grade: 3.0 Page Quality: CREAM TO OFF-WHITE Grade Date: 06/27/2018 Category: Signature Art Comments: Stan Lee story Jack Kirby & Joe Sinnott cover & art Key Comments: 1st appearance of the Black Panther (T'Challa). 7. I've seen this several times. It's a form of Shaken Comic Syndrome (SCS) where the forces involved caused the book to break through the inner sleeve seal. You can see an example of this HERE.
  8. Original Art (OA) This is such a great story. Link
  9. I was trying to spice up the conversation.
  10. That is super cool. Is there a story with that? I could see the X-men 1 that Moondog posted going unnoticed for a while but you would think this one was noticed pretty quick. I'm not aware of any background story on this one, but I can imagine the feeding frenzy if this were put up for sale right now.
  11. No, I was just showing that there are others. I DO like the character-specific DC logos. Like this one...
  12. I believe his management style tilts toward Theory X.
  13. What's your favorite? I think mine's probably '76.
