I'm a little surprised as well with the price of the 3.0 to 4.0. However, I kept thinking that the price was low throughout the auction and that there would be a big bid at then end.

Just picked up the #1 to complete the run.

 

Awesome! This makes me want to hold off my X-Men run and work on adding to my Hulk 1.

Yes. William Hurt is definitely showing up in Civil War. And yes, he's played General Ross and in the comics, General Ross eventually becomes the Red Hulk. But whether that happens in the movies or not remains to be seen. I think it's more of a "we want a Hulk for this movie and the green one isn't available after Avengers 2" thing than anything

 

But will the average audience buy into a Red Hulk? I mean, there are plenty of comic enthusiasts (myself included) who think the idea of multi-colored Hulks is ... well, dumb. Does Marvel want to take their chances that the general public finds the idea silly as well? I'm not seeing it.

 

They should do a Hulk in every color. Green Hulk hulks up when he's angry, Pink Hulk when he's in love, Yellow Hulk when he's afraid, Purple Hulk when he's puzzled, Blue Hulk when he's sad, etc.…

 

There's already a blue Hulk!

Red Hulk was dumb enough but a blue Hulk?!?

It's the same concept as power rings in the Dc universe. All the colors which make up the Rainbow Hulk Brigade!

Is anyone aware if they have released the next possible Star Wars Action Figure cover for issue seven? I'm guessing a Stormtrooper or Jawa.

Well I kind of expected a bigger reveal in SW #6, but I'll take it.

What's the difference with the two price points?

I may be in the minority, but I don't like the B&W Luke. It doesn't "pop". The full color and look of the vintage figure and blister card is what does it for me

I am collecting every single action figure variant I can get, except this one! I just don't like the black and white. It's funny how my completionist OCD isn't even kicking in on this!

Just want to give credit where its due to ebay seller avidcomicbookcollector who came through with my pre-order of Bats40 combos. These were all bought for cover and shipped the day of release

Nabbed a Wolverine in great shape today... $6.99, but I had my pick of the litter. Looks cool!

Lots of these books looked messed up at the corners at my store. The size of the book may be part of the issue.

The variant cover to Darth Vader #5 is just plain bad. The regular is much nicer.

I found the same thing with all of the Darth Vader variants

its not like they're going to disappear from the face of the earth. You can still buy them, probably just at higher prices.

 

Not the same. I have had them on my pull list since issue 15 I think. Well before they became popular. I would hate to start chasing now.

 

is there any history of things on your pull not showing up? especially things your subscribed to? that's a dangerous game to play for your LCS.

My LCS is awesome and I trust them 100%. It's what could happen before it reaches my LCS that has me worried. (ie. look at how it was just cancelled in Europe.)
