  1. Nah I have a small stack... I am pulling more stuff. I've said it all year. The more I sell the more I discover I have. That means the more I can sell.
  2. Going to revisit this stack and add some more stuff. Terms Worldwide shipping at buyer's expense. First Class Cardboard Sandwich, Priority Medium Flatrate Box or Cardboard Sandwich Priority padded flat rate envelope or Priority Boxed Media rate is available at buyer's risk for US packages PayPal Only Please No HOS, Probation List Members Returns are accepted so long as I am notified, and the is placed in the mail upon five days upon receipt of the item. Returns postage is at buyer's expense. Timestamp via PM or Public Claim gets the item. I don't care if you take it here or there... we go by timestamp. However, straight up taking it now publicly will beat any negotiation on anything. I am not big on negotiations but I will listen and sometimes even entertain. Since I am working from home I ship out same or next business day that you pay. First Up I am going to list things that we have seen before. It is easy and that stuff is already scanned.
  3. I think the best part about this is that I started the thread. How did you find it? Not only did I forget what it was named but that I started it. How long did I spend looking for this? #OldAge
  4. Oooooooookay. Again. Scans not photos. There is a book you have in that lot that went for around $1000 the other night in midgrade. A Ok Auctions just took an "okay" slanted photo of the book. Again list it at once. If the books are listed people see them in advance and start bidding or at least start watching. If it is not listed and someone has already gone through the listings, the chances that they return to see if anything was listed AFTER the auction as launched are significantly reduced. Comiclink, Metro / Comic Connect, MyComicShop, Heritage, and Hakes all run their auctions a similar way and are wildly more successful and known than AOK. Scan the book and list everything so it is ready at the launch of the auction for maximum exposure. You are committed to this at this point. I get it. This is not meant to be an argument. But, you are leaving a significant amount of money on the table. I cannot persuade you any further and to be honest, maybe I shouldn't. Good luck with this.
  5. My choices: Leaning toward Bon appetit or HGTV... Anyone else get this in the mail? What did you choose?
  6. So back in December I received another groupon offer to buy a Mad Magazine subscription for $5 I realized this past week that I never received a single issue so I wrote BluFin. They explained that I would be getting it soon and that there was a problem with the fulfillment for everyone. Today I received an additional email. I cut off the redemption code for the free additional subscription of something. I have to see what is available.
  7. Here is my issue with this. There are a couple of books there that have the potential to go for some big money even raw. I don't feel they know what they are doing. Why aren't they scanning the books? Every other reputable auction house scans comics unless they are sold in bundles or lots. They took cell phone images and at an angle. I believe that ALL of your books should have been listed before the auction started. I have already gone through three pages. Are you telling me that over the course of the next ten days they are going to add books to this session? That means that certain books have ten days to gather bids while other books have less. Let me know if anything great is inserted the day of and I will see if I can snipe those at the last minute. That screams disorganization and at the part of the auction house. There are other things I notice but as a bidder I don't want to share that with potential competition. I am a player in this game but up to a certain point. I think you would have been better submitting these books to Metropolis Comics / Comic Connect, or Comiclink, or MyComicshop. In fact if you can pull anything that has not been listed under your rights as a seller by pointing out to them what I said about everything being listed in time for this session, I would do so in order to maximize your profit.
