  1. Heh... He is retired Nassau PD.
  2. At this point I hope he crashes. No need for him to be killed. But it would be nice for the bike to be destroyed and for him to have a come to Jesus meeting with his mortality if that is what it takes for him to stop leaving at midnight and coming back at 2am while revving the bike. My basement one can be emptied at least twice a day and the one upstairs at least one.
  3. No response over the last few days. I guess I lost him. I might take a few thousand out of the bank and photograph it in an envelope marked to me and thank him for his assistance to confuse him.
  4. I thought this thread is usually reserved for every December 23rd.
  5. Fine... suggestion box. I ask for email notifications for certain threads such as my own sales threads and I never receive them. It would be nice to see that actually work. One day, it just stopped. I will think of more later. Carry on.
  6. So as mentioned, I have two dehumidifiers in the house that I run during the summer. My favorite one is the one I just moved into my bedroom with the loud fan that creates a white noise of sorts when run on high and constant. It drowns out the revving of the motorcycles that are owned by the guy across the street who leaves and comes home at odd hours. That dehumidifier is my favorite. For the last two nights, my ring doorbell picks up this doofus but my ears do not. Good little machine.
  7. I just got home. What in the blue hell is this?
  8. If anything you were all posting more. Some were posting so much they kept getting time outs.
  9. Congratulations to the winners and especially @Brandon Shepherd (You always root for the Lego guys.)
  10. Heard that RallyRoad is offering this as their next investment for a $200 a share buy in.
  11. Sweat… read something on a hot summer day while laying on your stomach on the lawn as a kid. Sweat What about if you are reading your comic and suddenly someone else’s bodily fluid winds up on the book?
  12. During the summer I run the central air and two 30 pint dehumidifiers - one upstairs and one in the basement. That is more for me than the comics though.
  13. Ehhh Cena... I was a Dwayne mark from the moment he started talking in the third person.
  14. Your 12 year old is wise beyond his years.
  15. From the press release: Walmart should have mentioned that because they had access to that information but you are correct that Hasbro should have had a better representation of the product prior to pre-order. The previous versions did not utilize the photo-real technology so that might be why. However, they have actually utilized images of original 2010 releases when reissuing figures for 2019-2021 with photo real. I think both sides screwed up here.
  16. Hasbro had said that they were to be reissues of previous releases so I assumed that it would just be the previous Mace Windu with the Photo Real technology but on the new card. Again though, that is Walmart's purchasing department. They ordered the quantity that they wanted. So hopefully Hasbro will convince them to order more or Hasbro will put some up on the HasbroPulse site. I agree with you though that Hasbro should have a picture of the image that they want to sell and that is the direct responsibility of the team. Hasbro's Star Wars team dropped the ball on that aspect of the offering. But, I have said it for years, the SW fanbase has been the biggest problem for any Hasbro team. The majority of issues stem from the wait until it hits clearance culture that developed in the SW collecting community.
  17. Not much data on this... so... let's see if this grabs anyone. A raw VG-Fine sold on Heritage for $480 + tax and shipping. https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/suspense-detective-5-fawcett-publications-1953-condition-vg-fn/a/122117-17608.s?ic4=ListView-ShortDescription-071515 Heritage cites a VG-Fine as between a 4.0-6.0 Howzbout.... $375. Let me know... I am off to get some things done for the next few hours.
  18. Going to be offering a few things in the next couple of weeks to clear out more space. Don't need to sell it all so if it sells great, if not, back to the box. Let's see if this can be re-homed. Rules Worldwide shipping at buyer's expense. First Class or Priority for US Buyers / Priority for packages going out of the US. We go by weight and region. PayPal / Cash if Local Pick Up No HOS, Probation List Members, Creepy Problem Children or Drama Llamas or any of their shills. No Returns on CGC Slabs Timestamp via PM or Public Claim gets the item. I don't care if you take it here or there... we go by timestamp. However, straight up taking it now publicly will beat any negotiation on anything. I am not big on negotiations but I will listen and sometimes even entertain. Since I am working from home I ship out same or next day that you pay. Come for a comic... stay for a song...
  19. While I am glad that Hasbro is finally addressing the issue of sold out store exclusives it is a little too late. There is a difference between a store exclusive and a limited edition. I get that a limited edition will sell out and is not available to everyone. I also get that it is determined by the retailer how much their purchase order is in terms of quantity. However, every time there is a store exclusive, there are people that are shut out that would have bought it. It's good for an item to sell out but an item should try to satisfy demand at the original offering price. Walmart and Hasbro continuously lose sales because Walmart does not order enough. What happens is that people miss out on product and there is nothing to be excited about. Those people stop buying all together or start to fade away. Hasbro is trying to address this by offering limited quantities of store exclusives on their website and pushing retailers like Amazon (Bad Batch VC Set) and Target (Joe Classified) to offer more but the more it becomes frustrating for the consumer, the more the consumer looks to spend their money elsewhere.
  20. Let's see what this is all about today. https://www.walmart.com/cp/collectibles/5967908?irgwc=1&sourceid=imp_T4JwgSV2LxyLWkNwUx0Mo37iUkBy-2wRwXYAzQ0&
