@Calamerica, I understand Hm... a few members... currently displaced as it were... expressed disappointment on my outlook on life when it comes to wishing harm on others. If you are about to pull into a space and you make a quick move to take that spot from me, stealing that space, I hope someone steals your car while you are shopping. If I have to get somewhere and I miss the light because you do not move when it turns green as you are on your cell phone and not paying attention, then I hope that the next move your car makes is into a pole. @jsilverjanet I even texted this question to the woman that raised me and a few others after someone expressed their disappointment in me

The Veterans Committee... once elected, those that are appointed can review older members who are no longer here and vote as to their acceptance into the hall. I agree though, with Mitch and Cal behind the wheel, it could be an ever so interesting ride.

Mom turns 72 this year and dad turned 76 a few weeks ago. If they are not leaving, I do not think I can leave them here in good faith especially as my brother lives in California and comes out east maybe once or twice a year. They have no intention of leaving. If I accept a rumored / impending buyout that would be nice, but I stand to make a LOT more if I stay for nine more years and then retire. You know the property value and tax situation in relation to square footage of a home in Nassau which would shock most everyone else reading this. Since the pandemic it has actually increased due to many in the city trying to find less crowded areas to live. We shall see... Either way... 3,422 days to go at the most.

I want to update this by saying by stroke of coincidence, one of my coworkers called me up and was expressing the same idea. The current disillusionment is real. However, she did echo something that I stated here a couple of months ago in Shadroch's thread, 'The thrill is gone." This pandemic has really opened the eyes of many people as to what is really important and what is not.

Longtime collectors? I am close to letting go Again, I was on Zillow this weekend and crunching numbers. I could sell this place in NY, sell the comics, UPSIZE the square footage of a possible house in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine or somewhere else where I can stare at the mountains all day for ONE THIRD the price and feed the deer, retire early, and be a walmart greeter just to get out of the house.

It had it's parallels to a certain other movie that it is naturally being compared to, but it did not go the way I expected and was different enough to be its own thing. I rather enjoyed it.

I am also waiting for them to figure out how to block multiple parties from sharing an account. I don't know who is paying for HBO Max in the family but it is not me.

I still have 6 (or 8?) Parkhoppers from the 90's that I never used. They were given as gifts to Castmembers. I wonder if they are still good. Supposedly they would be honored over the course of my lifetime. At this point though, I would guess they would deny entry and say that they were outdated.

BTW... I actually enjoyed, "The Little Things" on HBO Max. It was not something I might have seen in the theaters anyway but it was worth watching.

And I will wait for it the same way I waited for Mulan.
