  1. I referred to what I I referred to your thread last year to see if I accomplished anything I set out to do... I wrote: I did sell more stuff. Bathroom was completed at the end of June thanks to the pandemic and it wound up costing me a LOT more due to a lack of finding someone willing to undertake the project. Came out nice through... I did NOT get a Superman 14 but I added a number of GA Timely and DCs to my collection. However, while I did NOT do another room renovation, Today, I signed the contract for all of the old layers of roof to be ripped off the house and for a new roof to be put up. I did not realize how expensive that is. First time I need to actually replace the entire roof. So what do I want for 2021? Sell more stuff. I think the Superman 14 is passing me by especially as I put more money into the house. I would like: Human Torch 9, 23 Captain America 48 Superman 24 (Since 14 is at a point that is more than I want to spend right now) Other DC or Timely War covers Maybe a 1st Deadpool... I've never owned a copy. Page of Strange Adventures Sci Fi Art There is a particular cover out there I had my eye on... but... roof... Mego Spider-man... never owned one. Upgrade an ASM issue in my slabbed AF15-100 run.

  4. You only write that because you already know about that eBay message and already know I rolled my eyes at it and would not budge on the price. You would remember this more than I would... did they buy it anyway? And for the rest of you... I actually screen shot these messages for Kav. These are real messages that I get.
  5. I know who it is and was surprised. I really really really thought it was someone else in particular.
  6. I’ve told the seller how much I wanted something and how long I’ve wanted it AFTER the deal has been made. I’ve always felt that if you do that, especially with harder to find things or art that you are playing your hand against yourself. It kind of gives the upper hand to the seller.
  7. I really thought that exchange sounded like someone else who has not been seen in awhile.
  8. At this point they might as well announce the return of Toby and Andrew Garfield. EDIT: And that was not meant to be sarcastic. I am sure at this point that is being held back for a future big reveal.
  9. If it's last place you are looking for follow me for more Fantasy Football tips !
  10. Not a problem at all - I should have said that I was shipping to US addresses only - good luck
  11. Sigh Common sense should prevail. "Arbiter of justice..." people ask me to do a write up... I put together a write up. If I had my way some people would get a slap on a wrist and others would be welded shut in an oil drum and dumped into the sea.
  12. I had a sneaking suspicion about something and it seems others do as well...
  13. So... the chatter on a couple of Star Wars sites is that Mando somehow ends up with Slave 1 So... I broke down... I owned this once before when it was available from Amazon and had picked it up on clearance for $50. I remember selling it for near $200. Then they reissued it this year with new paint apps. So for anyone else that is noticing... I noticed this morning that there has been a LOT of sales of this ship over the last two weeks... The ship retails for $150 and is selling for more than that + shipping on eBay. Best Buy not only has some in stock, you can go to your offers and rewards in your account and you should find a one time use $25% off coupon. Mine should be here by next Monday. $112.49 + $9.70 Tax ... This one also apparently comes with a plexiglass display stand... Considering that I ordered that Boba Fett figure that is to be released in 2021... this will look 'fun' on a shelf in the basement. EDIT: Sold out on BBTS, Amazon, and Dorkside Toys. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-boba-fetts-slave-i-toy-vehicle/6403132.p?skuId=6403132
  14. This is the conundrum that first reared in the "Superhero Age of Movies" with GI Joe Retaliation. The toys were planned and ready to go... and then the movie was all ready to go. The toys started showing up at retail to tie into the movie in April-May of 2012. The movie was set for its June 2012 release date. Then the movie was pulled. At the last minute it was delayed by a year and would be released in mid 2013 and later moved up to March of 2013. Paramount said that they wanted to convert the movie to 3D but rumors abounded that they tried to fix what would be a lackluster film. The toys had already shipped. Waitaminute... Unfamiliar toys for a movie that no one could associate the toys with because the movie had not been released shipped. Roadblock looked like Dwayne Johnson instead of... 'Roadblock". So what happened? If you follow GI Joe toys, you know that GI Joe Retaliation was a last ditch effort for GI Joe to continue as a brand at mainstream retail. Retailers were pissed to put it lightly. Initial waves were severely discounted in some areas or taking up valuable storage space at brick and mortar for at least a year until they could be released again. Subsequent waves of figures were not purchased in any reasonable quantity since the first waves had not sold. It killed the line. The delay of GI Joe Retaliation was short sighted and effective killed GI Joe from 2013 until 2020. The only retailers that would stock GI Joe was Toys R Us and BBTS.com who would release 50th Anniversary collections for two years straight from 2014-2015 (Hey Buzz, wouldn't that be the 51st Anniversary Collection? Umm this is 'Hasbro' we are talking about) The fan club picked up the slack and produced 13-20 figures per year for 2016 through 2018 at a minimum of $35 each until they shut down and the line died until earlier this year. Now... Luckily Black Widow is not reliant on Lego and Hasbro Action figures. Luckily Lego is not reliant on movies and Hasbro has a bunch of different properties it licenses... okay... luckily Hasbro owns half the rights of the Transformers. But Black Widow is losing money the longer it stays on the shelves. In fact the Marvel Universe needs to put forth some media. Wandavision comes on in January but if that is the only offering for the next six months then there is too much of a delay. The longer you are absent from the marketplace the harder it is to recapture market share.
  15. There is always... Lego This is on the scanner next to me at the moment. I also made a couple of... upgrades. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/default-the-mandalorian-bounty-hunter-transport-au-the-razor-crest-nz-the-razor-crest-75292

With all of the talk about ASM 300... I never believed in the book... but I figured I would get a copy. I saw a 9.6 for sale on one site and grabbed it at auction and then to justify "wasting" my money like that I sold the 9.4 for about the same. It was basically a free upgrade for the cost of shipping. I should have just shelled out $325 and kept both.
