  1. I forgot about this... Just came to check and I won... cool !
  2. If someone wants to pay it I don't know what to tell you anymore. There was someone in one of those groups asking if MCS was okay to buy from... Then today in a GI Joe group there was someone laughing at the price of a GI Joe $50 exclusive boxed set that sold out in April. Seller offered it for $100. The first guy laughed at the price. Within a period of 7 minutes three people claimed it and two others marked themselves down for backup claims in case the sale fell through. Who can explain it. I listed two GI Joe figures for $40 in a facebook group. I had one tire kicker asking me to take $30. I simultaneously listed it on eBay for $55 OBO... Instantly three people watching and one person just took it for $55. Again... I cannot explain why people pay what they will. I know why I pay what I do... To be realistic anyone outside of our group would think that even spending $250 on that is insane.
  3. I had never met him but he always seemed like a nice guy on the boards. Very sorry to hear that he has passed.
  4. @shadroch I wrote about this last year... I just cut and pasted it from last year's post. See if you have this laying around.
  5. I just bought a $500 book and the post snapped and is floating around inside the slab. In this case I am sure it happened in transit given the shape the box was in when it arrived. Want to know what I did? Here are my exact words... And I left him positive feedback.
  6. I watched the review... it is fantastic how they designed it. The buildings match up being placed face to face and also back to back. I wanted to get Mos Eisley but... the reviews have not made it seem like it's something must be picked up. I think I want that Haunted Mansion. This set is just jaw dropping. Nice pickup.
  7. 'sup playboy... our paths have crossed... I will let you know what happens Sunday...
  8. I like you. I like your style. Honestly got a good laugh at that. Our paths need to cross more often. But will our paths cross past $350?
  9. Only reason I cited the minimum $10 increment rule was because I had bid $100 and then you followed with $103. With that said, Action 79 - $300
  10. @JB123 $10 increments. $150 on Action 79 $120 on CrimeSuspenstories 13
  11. $100 on Action Comics 79 $100 on CrimeSuspenstories 13
  12. I love these... I bid on Friday... then I am out Saturday... I come back Sunday and remember just after the auction is over that there was an auction... I am ready to drive up the price !
  13. Here is the thing though... I want to make sure I am not getting double dipped for all related fee. The money should not be going to PayPal account... it should be held by eBay managed payments.
  14. Yeah, I was going to suggest the same... make sure your PayPal was not broken into and used by someone else.
  15. Yes, I sat in on one of them once while doing some work just to watch and it was a feeding frenzy.
  16. Before anyone asks... what was shrinkwrapped by me? I was actually kind of skilled at it in a way that made it look like the seal was never broken. VHS cassettes, board games, hard product, basically if it came into the store with shrink wrap... we would sometimes shrink wrap it if it was damaged. as to not have to 'damage it out and destroy it.' They were $14.99 to $29.99 each in some cases and the shrink wrap would get damaged as they were on the shelf. So, we would just shrink wrap it.
  17. Yeah, because that would have been automatically done by a machine in the factory so the package could 'breathe" (I guess) and when the temperature changes in transit it would not inflate and deflate... rather than one without it that would indicate it was shrinkwrapped by a college kid in the back with a hair dryer and a basic shrinkwrap machine lol.
  18. On top of that... that's most likely the original shrink wrap as you can tell with the punch hole in it. True fact time... working in retail in the 90's during college, I learned that MANY stores had a shrink wrap machine in the back to make returned product 'new' again. If it was determined that a product need only be shrinkwrapped to make it new again, off to the shrink wrap machine with a hair dryer and your product you went.
  19. Did @jsilverjanet ever answer his own question?
  20. Amazing Spider-man... That's it. Now, that works out really well... but then once ever decade it doesn't. So when my LCS asked me if I wanted my Edge of the Spider-verse 2 since he has known me since I was 14. (He retired last Christmas) I read it in the store behind the counter while he took a cigarette break and put it back in the register pile for him to sell for someone else. BUT!!! If I bought say 5 titles a week... how much am I spending over the course of a decade to get that ONE single issue that will become huge? I may get it but I believe you come out a loser in the end with the money spent and the amount of dreck at your feet as well as the space you have used up.
  21. I think I have about 2,000-2,500 Maaaaaaaaaaaybe 3,000
  22. So I am registered for managed payments... It says the shift was successful... They said they would email me when my managed payments would go live... I get the notification that managed payments is live... I got a sale ! Where is the money ? PayPal... So... maybe it was not as successful as eBay thinks it was.
  23. This is what is left in each box after everything has been cherrypicked...
