  1. I had something like that happen recently... He turned down my offer of $21... He countered with $20... I should have held out for $15.
  2. Valiant / Acclaim.... Unity 2000... I am still waiting for issues 4, 5, 6... I sold the first few issues off... no sense in keeping them. At least let me know how it would have all played out.
  3. Gentlemen... and I suspect that @STORMSHADOW_80 might have the knowledge due to the GI Joe background... How do I turn this Wampa white again? He has bungee cord innards for the arms.
  4. I only bought one. If I were to sell it, I would also sell the Skiff and all associated figures in one giant lot. Instant Sarlacc Battle... There are other things I would prefer to sell though first so it's weird... like you say, common sense suggests that I should just be done with it. However, let us be realistic... when has common sense and toy collecting ever gone hand in hand? I mean do we really 'need' any of this?
  5. Is this a case of the rarely seen EC Chipping?
  6. Vintage 1985 POTF Obi Wan Kenobi... the ones with the coin. I came across the pics on my old computer yesterday... Thing would have been an AFA 85 minimum. I think it had a shot at a 90.
  7. Thirteen years ago, I sold a MOC Star Wars figure for around $300. Based on threads like this, I am praying that the bubble has yellowed and the buyer finds me to ask for a refund because the asking price for that piece is now between $1500 to $2000.
  8. I think that was the result of a urinating contest... There is a 4.5 sitting on eBay for $470 obo along with many other copies.
  9. This is why I am not buying one... I think the Sentinel is amazing and definitely better than Unicron in terms of bang for your buck. I have been been flip flopping whether or not to get one to keep or to hold and flip and then I notice that the Barge still remains unopened on the guest bed in the alcove of the basement. I have go to start making some cuts. I look forward to seeing your pictures though... Open 3
  10. 2020: The Summer of Pernts Nice books and nice grades. I am curious about the motivation to have Claremont sign the 1st Cable and 1 Deadpool... True that CC is the father of modern X-Men but will you be seeking out other signatures on those books besides the McFarlane signature on NM 87?
  11. The example you give is on the hero side which is often the dynamic presented. For example, in Star Wars, a band of heroes to stop the Empire with the main villain, Darth Vader and secondary villain of Tarkin. Stormtroopers are background chatter or the minions of the big bad. We see the same in Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League, The Road Warrior. Now Batman has always been an outlier to this concept. One man. One City. Batman against ALL the villains. If this were something like a Arkham Asylum Breakout movie, I would be pumped... but it might be too villain heavy for the noir type movie that Reeves is stating this is. It's a wait and see approach... I am not saying that this is going to suck in the slightest... I think that this is going to surprise people to be honest... but if this is successful and Pattinson is Batman for a few more films I don't want them to immediately cycle through some of their best villains.
  12. Anyone need roadblock ? Let me know before I leave. Cost plus shipping... if you want it shipped cheaper I will put it in an envelope and ship it loose. Lmk in the next 30. Leaving and currently hidden in the store muhahahhahaa
  13. I would have agreed if not for the extra smile line by extending the lip line up the cheeks with black painted smears. I like the costume design on them though.... creepy AF
  14. Just saw it. I stand by what I said... it looks amazing from the style to the casting... but I question whether or not there is 'too much going on"... So we have Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, Carmine Falcone and.... Joker Gangs?
  15. I will throw my hat in. I will see the $60 on ShockSuspenstoies 8 and raise by $10 ShockSuspenstories 3 - $70
  16. Already have the BMF Millennium Falcon and don't want to spend $400 to 'update' it? I was debating whether I should sell my BMF Legacy Falcon and rebuy the Disney theme park version with better paint apps... the thing is... It's $400. $434 with tax... Hasbro had my back on this... They put Hondo up for preorder yesterday. By the time I realized it they were sold out but I ordered one for $2 more through BBTS. The new Falcon eliminates Chewbacca and Han with their head pieces and adds in Hondo from the Clone Wars, a swappable radar dish, the crates from the Imperial Hover Tank, and a handful of Porgs. The main attraction here was fan favorite Hondo... going by the pics it looks to be the same exact figure. For once... they listened.
  17. You can easily be jaded by something like that... however there are many more people that you have helped where it turned out the right way. In return I am sure that they have also directed things your way or notified you about things that became available. Everyone gets theirs though. I sold a page of art a few years ago and the guy wrote me a note that "he loved the artist and loved the character and was hoping I would lower the price as it was all he could afford blah blah blah ... the usual." Even though my price was high, I would not really relent. He kept asking and asking and still I said no. Finally he asked me to let him know if I received any other pages from that artist and character in the future. Another board member knew about the sale and was trolling around a comiclink auction when he saw it TWO MONTHS LATER. I made sure I won the piece back... at about 3/5 or 1/2 the price I originally sold it to him. So I did what needed to be done. I contacted him again to let him know I had another page and wanted to know if he was interested. I don't believe I ever heard back from him.
  18. Right now I am searching for my 2020 Topps chromium refractor limited edition reprint of the 52’ Mantle. Why? because it’s his rookie card... you know.... his first appearance
