  1. You were right. But... for some reason... you can preorder Snake Eyes right now... instead of tomorrow... $40 was a bit steep for this in my opinion... I ordered it anyway. I have seen some of the Hasbro Pulse Preorders sell out like that Earthrise Wheeljack which I had to eventually preorder on Amazon. So I figure if I change my mind I have until the end of March to cancel the order. https://hasbropulse.com/products/g-i-joe-classified-series-snake-eyes-deluxe-action-figure-hasbro-pulse-exclusive
  2. Any contact information included in the listing that opens the door to the circumvention of eBay as the intermediary between buyer and seller is explicitly against the terms of service.
  3. Ohhh I thought it was just in reference to contact information.
  4. This thread needs music... In honor of over 1 BILLION views...
  5. He is honestly not doing anything that any of the other guys are not doing. Does anyone really think that Brock or Reece have their phone numbers posted for everyone to see just so they can chat about current events?
  6. The same way that Milehigh, MyComicShop and everyone else gets away with it... Heck... if eBay allows for you to do it to some extent I will readily admit that even I do it in a way.
  7. I think it was Shadroch that pointed out that many of the issues that are circulating amongst collectors were for years, stored in no less conditions than stacked, raw, in a box. So... anything ahs got to be better than that.
  8. He is right... https://www.dictionary.com/browse/kidnaped
  9. Soooo you are saying that we should always look on the bright side of life?
  10. I would sell it in a closed listing over eBay to a friend just to get that registered with GPA.
  11. My recommendation is to hold off. Lego sets have a shelf life of at least a year. I would wait for the right promotion or double points to order... Set is released on September 1st. If you MUST preorder, which again, I strongly suggest currently holding off from... https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/the-razor-crest-75292 $130 The Razor Crest has a dual LEGO minifigure cockpit, 2 spring-loaded shooters, cargo hold with opening sides/access ramps and carbonite bounty elements inside, sleeping area and detachable escape pod for creative play. This 1,023-piece construction playset offers a challenging build and combines brilliantly with other LEGO Star Wars sets. It makes a super holiday gift or birthday present for boys and girls aged 10+. The Razor Crest dreadnought measures over 5.5” (14cm) high, 15” (38cm) long and 11” (28cm) wide. It makes an eye-catching Star Wars: The Mandalorian display piece when it is not being used to transport vital cargo!
  12. Something similar happened to me back in 2016. I won something from the Netherlands also at auction. PayPal sent out notification of payment but eBay did not. Seller thought it was a scam at first. I really wanted the piece as it was hard to come by (Wooden Lego toy from before the time Lego made plastic bricks). Eventually it was sorted out. It is annoying to see though that they still have not resolved the issue.
  13. I'm a decade late but I finally watched all nine seasons of the Office... I now get this comment.
  14. I remember reading reports of Disney artists playing slip and slide with the acetate cels after production wrapped. Also in many cases, the painted cels did not store well given the regard they were given and the conditions to which they were stored. This is why I have seen more of the pencils survive. To be also fair, I actually like buying the pencils to the cels as the actual artists such as Ollie Johnson, Frank Thomas, Ward Kimball and the others did not actually paint the cels. They were responsible for the pencils and the artists in training, the assistants and others in the 'ink and paint' department were actually responsible for final production. Now that I have opened my mouth, watch pencils now explode on Heritage...
  15. Yes, Hasbro is hosting a livestream at 1:30 (EST) and then as reported 'some' of the revealed items will go on sale through Hasbro Pulse. What items? Who knows? Could it be the piece that is shown with the extras? Maybe... However, this was marked as a con exclusive and while retailers are at Toy Fair to get vendors to buy their items and to show off their product, they, especially Hasbro, have often revealed store exclusives as well as SDCC and other show exclusives at Toy Fair as part of the presentation of the lines.
  16. No, I mean SDCC. ToyFair is not open to the public but they have shown their SDCC items off there when showing off product.
  17. I am 44 (I turn 45 in June) and am "either in the middle of a very healthy life or almost done with an unhealthy life." I've been taking inventory of a lot of things and thinking of doing a serious culling but not to put toward more 'stuff'. There are a couple of home projects I would like to undertake. For example, I like GI Joe toys, but I would rather redo the dining room. In other cases, I know full well how a little adds up to a lot. If I have 100 items laying around that are worth an average of $20 each I have to ask myself, would I rather have that item or $2000?
  18. Supposedly this is the SDCC version with the extra accessories and stand. The interior box with the figure is what you will see on the shelves.
  19. Supposedly, that incident from 2012 has been rectified in all shows from that point on.
  20. That’s a different thread. However I am offering size 11 1/2 through 12 in that very thread. Catalogs were already sent out for this months offering, but if you want I can include you on the mailing list for the April Auction.
