  1. He will be recast as someone different and capable of leading a Nova franchise for at least three films and three guest appearances.
  2. Now, I am making no less than 37 different Nova threads.
  3. I want to read more about this later... however, I wonder if they were going to introduce the Loth-Wolves of the planet Lothal from Rebels. The wolves were force sensitive. There was already precedence for creating live action representations of the characters introduced by Filoni in his animated series. Saw Guerera of the Clone Wars and Rebels appeared in Rogue One Ahsoka Tano of the Clone Wars and Rebels appeared (her voice) in the Jedi Support Group Seance with Rey in Rise of Skywalker Loth-Cats of the planet Lothal from Rebels have appeared in the Mandalorian in cages.
  4. I will respond in length later... right now I am very busy and am about to make a Nova thread.
  5. Sooooo don't make a Nova thread? I was just about to make a Nova thread... Maybe I will make one in moderns... @ Moderns
  6. Yup... at @kav suggestion... I blocked the potential buyer. She is cray cray with a heavy dose of entitlement.
  7. What was the other thing he was involved with besides Obadiah Oldbuck?
  8. We have a well historied difference of opinion on this especially because I deal with different objects and an oft times irrational customer base. Have you had instances of entitlement that stopped you in your tracks? I have someone that continually messages me asking if I will break up a jewelry set. At first for a year she would check in every four weeks as to if I would break up a set and sell a pendant / enhancer from a set with the matching bracelet. I would politely decline and explain that I will only sell it as a set and thank her for her interest. This has gone on for a year. Today she asked if I would sell her the bracelet as she picked up the pendant and now wants the bracelet in the size I am selling it. I declined. Then she asked if she could send me the bracelet that she has + $40 and trade bracelets - she wants the small and would trade me a medium. I declined but told her I respected her persistence. Now she wrote me a LONG note asking me to explain myself as to why I will not agree to her requests and upped it to trade the bracelet + $50 AND a prepaid envelope. I don't do trades. I don't do it with comics, art, toys and certainly not jewelry. Side note... My aunt was a certain type of buyer that you had in your thread. She was on the phone complaining as a buyer with eBay that she never received a package, calling up the USPS to lodge a complaint, called eBay and Paypal to see if she was covered and was considering opening a case against the seller to let him deal with the problem. My cousin saw the package and took it inside for her. She didn't see it. smh
  9. New pair of shoes going up tonight... Was digging through the closet to throw some stuff out and threw them in the trash.... I immediately came to my senses and said... ”That’s for eBay.”
  10. The bad thing about falling asleep when you get home from work is that when you wake up you still have a couple of hours of work to do... yay! I don't know why sellers 'guarantee' grades. I am not talking about if there is restoration or not since that is another story. If there is resto on a book you sold that is on the seller. However, if the book is valuable in a high grade, then get it graded. Instead of listing a book as a 9.8 then list it as a 9.6-9.8 or NM to NM+ List with large detailed scans. Don't give a wall of text. Just provide some basic facts. This is not rocket science. HOWEVER Keep in mind one thing. Comic Connect has their own grading system separate from CGC. Mile High DEFINITELY has their own grading system. So... everything will be slightly subjective.
  11. As a representative for the many Sony and other Hollywood execs that participate on these boards, I promise you that we will review your suggestion and consider it.
  12. Picked this up tonight in the Heritage Art Auction... I am a sucker for a good Indiana Jones page... and Trimpe too !
  13. I edited the original title so this could just be ongoing and not be soooooooo 2019...
  14. @comicwiz Joe, what a coincidence you posted this pic. I was just emailed about this and was going to post it here and let you know that BBTS is taking pre-orders for the more accurately sized Hasbro Tie Fighter in ESB 'vintage' packaging. They are immediately offering the deep discount at $35. Not bad when the Star Wars versions were going for the full $80. It even comes with the Tie Pilot which at today's prices are $12.99 retail. It's a pretty good deal if you want to get him something 'swooshable" https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/86253
  15. It’s being reported that retailers are taking orders... 6” GI Joe line independent from upcoming Snake Eyes movie. Figures will be like Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends. 6 Figure Case breakdown reported. 2 x Snake Eyes 1 x Destro 1 x Scarlett 1 x Roadblock 1 x Duke @STORMSHADOW_80
  16. Good to know. However this is not a political thread and because the legality concerns collectables, especially those that order higher dollar items, I would say this is of great interest. As many of us know, high dollar items carry a different threshold of insurance than low dollar. Each threshold of insurance within the USPS carries a specific series of tracking numbers and they come with a different set of instructions. Those tracking numbers are easily discernible to anyone working in a mail handling facility. This goes on with most carriers. For example, I always found it odd that the ComicLink Orders that Fed Ex signed for "and left on the wrong stoop" and the order that they 'lost' somewhere on Long Island were both high dollar parcels worth a few thousand each. It took a lot of phone calls to get them back. I am curious to see how this plays out. Maybe there will be a bit more internal monitoring over what carriers have access to, how they handle it, and who processes it.
  17. Best wishes Bob - hope you heal up as comfortably as possible.
  18. I also have the money to do a bathroom remodel... and... no one except Home Depot feels like making the time... so I am getting ready to say screw it and pay more money to use Home Depot's services and the team they contract through them.
