For the kind of people who like that kind of thing, that’s the kind of thing that those people like.

When I ran the numbers through verification to see what books they were, the 1174079001 comes up as a regular query result. The 1478893002 is flagged in the verification with the instruction in red to contact CGC. Is the 1174079001 a new submission that CGC has not identified yet? I ran subsequent numbers in the chain and it looks like that book was an isolated submission or the other book(s) in that submission have been stricken from the record.

I fell asleep and just waken up otherwise I would have addressed this earlier. It was reported that he changed his eBay handle. Yesterday it was geek something. So for Mike, who we know is reading this, "uh uh", we got that covered. Here is the CURRENT account: https://www.ebay.com/usr/bluemoonalways. If he changes his account again, keep in mind that his account may be found by going through one of the completed listings. Here is the copy of the AF 15 he sold as a 1.5 / 1.8 with Slight Restoration: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256358948485 That will lead you to the item that was sold, which Mike cannot change, and then after that you can see whatever account is responsible for the listing or whatever he changed the name to or will change the name to. From there go through all of the other sold material or go through the feedback. Hey Mike, because I know you are reading this, remember when you last PM'd me? Yeah buddy, Happy New Year !

Right now there is a guy switching comics out of slabs in Kew Gardens / Forest Hills that is breathing a sigh of relief that the CGC Boards have a new focus for the week.

So far the "crackhead" has not lied. However, the "businessman"... that is another story.

Cause criminals be doing criminal stuff?

I believe he is full of 💩. It’s excuse after excuse with this guy as to why he couldn’t just send the books out to begin with. So can anyone explain why he has time to list items on eBay to begin with but doesn’t have time to return items to his customers? He’s playing everyone for fools. The only reason he is trying to make anything right is because at this point he might have a thought in that thick skull of his that he is engaging in criminal activity.

Can he finally be nominated to the Hall of Shame at this point?

If we all cross our fingers, 2024 might turn out to be a perpetual Friday thread on the boards.

Movies/TV/Video Games Subforum General Discussion Thread
Buzzetta replied to TupennyConan's topic in The Movie Forum
Also, @Bosco685 we had another one in the city a couple of days ago. https://www.nydailynews.com/2024/01/12/mta-brooklyn-subway-track-fatal/ This guy wasn't underground when he did it either so when he fell off the top of the car he plummeted to the street below. People have been posting FDNY washing the blood off the street among other videos of ESU and EMT response. When they do it underground it is very problematic since the whole system has to shut down to make sure there is no one wounded in the tunnels or anywhere else. It's usually like an scene out of the ending of Speed and they lose their heads like Dennis Hopper. When it happens outside on an elevated line the bodies fall to the street below and trains usually resume service quicker. -

Yup. This is for real. I have one friend who is still on the job for FDNY and they will tell you. Do not park within fifteen feet of a hydrant. If they have to feed a hose through your window they will feed a hose through your window. -
Brittle Pages? How Bad Is It? Is It a Dealbreaker?
Buzzetta replied to Dr. Balls's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I had one book go from a 4.5 with slightly brittle reholdered by another company to see what would happen when they were first starting out. It came back a 3.5 tan to off white from the other company. When I sent it back to CGC ... just because... it came back a 3.5 tan to off white from them as well. So... again, who knows? -
When can we expect a totally redesigned holder from CGC?
Buzzetta replied to Closet Avenger's topic in Comics General
Or making it a super sticker adhered to the inner well like the comiclink advertisement stickers on the back of slabs. If those were tampered with it is noticeable. -

Thought we were not supposed to mention them. Comic Book Station is not just a comic book store, but one that cracks and presses their own books as well. They are very big into pressing books. A conversation with a local friend reminded me that when I was encouraging them to submit their books to our premier presser on the boards, they originally told me that they wanted to submit them instead to Comic Book Station as they are blocks away from him. Our board premier presser eventually received the books and not Comic Book Station.

I don't think it was trimmed either IMO. -

I do not believe that all of the cards have been played. CGC will most likely not disclose what they believe the scamming piece of filth did for a multitude of reasons.
