Eh... The trailer doesn't seem to have the charm that the first Lego movie had which is what this movie will eventually be compared to. Out of curiosity, is Playmobil that much of a household brand in America? When it comes to toy movies, everyone knew Lego, GI Joe, and Transformers. Does Playmobil have that much of a brand recognition across the US though where the movie will synergize with the toy shelves?

Lending out Deadpool could be an incredibly strong negotiating tactic for Disney to use toward Sony to re-up the Spider-man deal.

I stay away from Soda... but as soon as you mentioned this. I thought it would mix well with rum or perhaps Absolut Cintron. The mint has grown in my yard... that means I am mixing blueberry lemonade, coconut rum and fresh mint for this extended weekend. Substitute rum sometimes for Absolut Cintron.

I will definitely keep that in mind. I've slowed down the buying this year and upped the selling. When I get a chance I will tell you what I am currently selling things for... nothing glamorous but I am doing something for the sheer principle of it. Right now I have about $2100 to go until I am at my $10,000 goal.

Didn't see that you had answered him first. Sorry. I was at a local flea market last summer and a guy had figures and he was trying to pass off once of these as an original at the original price. I always look at date stamps when I see these things. In a few years from now I I tend to agree with you that the waters will continue to get get muddy as more of those that are unfamiliar with the lines won't necessarily look for those types of things when purchasing loose samples. Side note though, I eventually plan on picking up a 95' remake as well as the 2019 retro remakes to compare with the originals that I still have. I would like to see a side by side by side comparison.

Disney... There are certain Disney books which resonate solely with the Disney crowd. They don't collect any other comics but collect Disneyana and that is definitely a part of it.

Wait until you hang out in the art part of the forum. I lurk over there. And for the record, there are many people here who have far better collections. There are people that have put together collections that have made my jaw drop and in many cases it has nothing to do with monetary value of the collection.

Yeah, I've done the same. I've sold undercopies but kept all undercopies of ASM under issue 25 and any keys. So at this point for example I have 6 (maybe 7) copies of ASM 14 and 4 copies of 50 and things like that. ASM will always be 'money' so I will hold on to them until I feel like cashing out.

That is actually pretty cheap for what one normally goes for in such nice condition. The whiteness looks fresh out of the package. Make sure it is not stamped with the 1995 date as they had created new molds from the vintage figures back in 95 due to the POTF2 figures not fitting in the reissued Falcon. I have seen a few people try to pass off the 95 Luke, Vader, Solo and Chewbacca off as original vintage. As I write this, I also have to point out that the new reissued 'retro' figures are also new molds of the vintage figures in that design but have Hasbro 2018 - 2019? stamps on them.
