  1. You forgot to tag @vane - I am getting on the train soon so I can get my breakfast at Sunac... and I have a video of a homeless guy having a BBQ (blazing fire and all) on the L train Platform at First to to show you.
  2. I didn't write that clearly. I didn't see it going for that amount.
  3. I bid that book up too... didn't see it at the price it went for. Maybe next month.
  4. I still cannot believe the board software that censors and filters posts allowed it.
  5. hm... The guy wants a comic book show on YouTube... Seems to be a trend... @PeteFromPetesBasement @jsilverjanet sup'
  6. Picked up some lower mid grade GA stuff. The EC Books ... lately it seems you might as well just throw GPA out the window. The Whiz Comics was a decent deal considering what I have seen the book go for recently.
  7. You seem to be doing well advertising eBay sales on Instagram. If I didn't have a particular nut job trying to get back in my life all the time I would have made my IG public.
  8. You just respond with - no problem. However the price of shipping goes up by (Cost of whatever you had the comic listed at) I am a jerk when it comes to lowball offers. I had something listed for say $200 once and the guy kept making lowball offers. I think he made an offer for something like $50 I said no problem but who is paying the other $150... never heard from him again.
  9. iPhone XR's battery life is amazing... that phone was used and run from 6am this morning until I posted it. I plugged it in at that point.
  10. You wish you could have a good meatball sub... or a shrimp parm. Instead you are stuck with that thing you call pizza. Jon Stewart summed up my take on Chicago Pizza pretty well...
  11. I truly believe that McFarlane's is the best. Man takes time out of his day to teach people how to draw. It's like a mini Bob Ross session and is definitely worth the time to go through. https://www.youtube.com/user/McFarlaneCompany/videos
  12. The next Haslab Project is up and running. Hasbro Haslab is caving into another massive request. The GI Joe Flagg from GI Joe Resolute. GI Joe Resolute was a 2009 cartoon movie that was far better than the cartoon written by Warren Ellis. The movie was VERY well received and many fans said that it was what Rise of Cobra should have been. Either way Hasbro released a toy line centered around it. In 2011 Hasbro revealed the mockup for the Resolute Flagg at Joe Con along with several other items that they said were in the vault for a future release. General's Joes showed the pics HERE and here are the pics from the 2012 show of the prototypes that were vaulted from Hisstank HERE. Almost all of the figures have found their way into the hands of collectors and now it is possible that the Resolute Flagg may as well. Hasbro is asking $650 for this thing which while it is slightly larger than the barge it is almost twice as wide. While it is mostly a shell with drawers it features twin launchpads and that are skyhawk sized a working comm tower as well as a working elevator to store your mini jets and planes in the bowels of the aircraft carrier. The only images currently up are the prototype mockups. I took the liberty of including reference material from the cartoon to compare. Preorders opened today and will close on May 1st. If there are 5500 units preordered Hasbro will go ahead and produce the Resolute Flagg. Specs: One US Flagg Dimensions: 58" length, 22" width, 23" height. Features multiple storage and entry points, dual launch pads, lift and lock elevator and lower "sea level" launch pads. Exclusive Admiral Keel Haul Figure with Commemorative Stand Exclusive Shipwreck Figure with Commemorative Stand Exclusive Torpedo Figure with Commemorative Stand Projected ship date is 3rd Quarter of 2020 if the project is given a go. Yo Joe ! More info from HASLAB preorder
  13. I am going to use your words against you... in a friendly way. This happened to me once. I was out of stock on two things that I had variations of as for some reason I did not relist it right. Combine that with the fact that I said that I was away last summer for a week while I was in Florida and thought I set my store away settings the right way. Something sold and I could not ship it out until I got back. They took away my ability to use the Global Shipping Program. So I remembered what you said you did. Argue until I got the person on the phone that would do what I want. They eventually did what I wanted. They took away the penalty on the away store message because the CSR agreed that it was slightly misleading and I acted in good faith... then took a look at other things in comparison and everything was back to normal. You know where I got that keep at it until you talk to a reasonable eBay CSR? You. You know what you are doing... when it comes to eBay. However as was mentioned in the eBay my eBay thread... there is no need to jump through hoops because eBay is waving carrots in front of the cart to strive toward perfection which is unobtainable. I honestly believe that should anything ever happen that you know enough about how it works to come out on top.
  14. I promise you they don’t. I never have. I look at that percentage as to whether or not it is around 100% and if it’s not I look to see why. Even if you are selling a $200 item we are talking $2. Btw I just texted two people I know on that shop on eBay... one responded like I did that he doesn’t even look the other responded that he knows people are a holes and so long as it’s over four then who cares. To be honest when I buy I don’t even take the time to rate anyone I just leave a positive. Btw I actually did text someone - we bother the f out of each other with questions like this.
  15. Shrug it off. You have no control over this. If you are jumping through hoops to preserve that extra 10% discount then you are doing it wrong. It’s 10% off of the 10% fee so you are doing this for an extra $1 out of every $100. Raise your prices by 1.5% to 2% to compensate. Now I’m not saying to abandon too notch service. I took a later train home today so I could drop off weekend sales at the post office. I want my buyers to have single day shipping and excellent service. However I’m not going to care if I got 4 stars or 5 stars from someone because I would not give them an item at the price they wanted to pay.
