Joe I respect what you have to say and your opinion on this and it gives me pause to reconsider certain things. For full disclosure though, in case it comes up, I contacted Darren last year and he provided a decent account of what Chip did over there after Darren's friend passed away. I just reread the PM over there from my inbox. I see what you mean to allowing each community and culture dictate the terms of banishment and that each banishment from each forum should be based exclusively on that forum's merits. I believe though that after Chip's Go Fund Me and various other attempts to raise money as well as the personal injury scare that he brought upon the boards that his continued attempts to conduct transactions despite his present status offers up a 'special case' scenario. I may very well be wrong. The thing is, a mod said that it would be a different story if a HOS member was actively trying to conduct business. Here we have Chip publicly acknowledging that he is indeed trying to conduct business but through private message. If he didn't think that he was in disagreement to the terms of his status he wouldn't be trying to conduct business behind the scenes. Mods said it was a different story. Let's see what story it is. No matter what though, at the end of the day, it is their sandbox not mine. I just post in it at their discretion.

I just want to know @cgcmod8 that you have seen this. I do not need to know if this is being considered or if there will be action. I just want to make sure you are aware that a member that has defrauded the community and other message boards for twenty years admitted that he is trying to conduct business through private message. While one member outed him because he refused to do business with him, odds are that Chip has reached out to others before and been able to conduct business with them. Just checking in. Please let us know.

I think I just found my favorite new web series... There is a lot going on in this episode.

Premiering on Disney XD on October 7th, the latest installment of the Star Wars Universe follows the tradition of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. This takes place six months prior to the events of the sequel trilogy. Whatever your thoughts on the sequel trilogy, the series will be headed by Dave Filoni who headed the previous two Star Wars television series and the one who is bringing back the 'lost' episodes of The Clone Wars to Disney. The Clone Wars and Rebels both got off to rocky starts and eventually became some of the better received Star Wars entertainment post Return of the Jedi. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Premiere is October 7th with the full series regularly scheduled at a later date. One of the characters is wearing a variation of the "Classic Lego Space" shirt. Be prepared for Spaceballs the Power of Money in this one.

I want to say that it would be fun for them to "Rick and Morty" the whole thing. Spider-man is dead. Black Panther is dead. Strange is dead. They died and they are all dead and are not coming back. However... just like in Rick and Morty there are infinite universes in infinite dimensions with infinite Beths. Summers and even Jerrys. This means that since Strange said there were 14 million possible outcomes there may very well be 14 million possible universes and dimensions. I say Lang, Stark, Wong, Cap and the rest find the universe where THEY all died but those who were wiped away were the survivors. They merge the timelines and go on to live in that timeline and thwart Thanos. That means that the Spider-man is homecoming is like the C-137 Jerry and after Stark finds his way over to "The Replacement Dimension" and that in the next Spider-man it is Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Spider-man... but the Replacement dimension version. I am curious as to how the scenario would play out if one of the people who actually do follow through with and conduct business with HOS were defrauded. Would they announce it to the boards? If anyone conducts business with someone in the HOS and they are defrauded by that person I would like to believe that they would not want to tell a single person about it as they might lose some standing around these parts. However, people that deal with HOS members are probably more likely to be defrauded because the HOS member knows that the person they are conducting business would be too ashamed to say anything.

Grading has usually been +/- .5 on average. They did miss trimming once but took care of it.

The 80 is a 8.0 and the 85 I believe is a 9.4. I stopped really pursuing upgrades once I started buying original art and more Golden Age books. My 1-100 set is linked below. It is hard to check on my phone in the area I am in right now.

I genuinely liked Man of Steel and stated that when it came out. I thought Cavill was an exceptional Superman and thought the tweaks to the origin story and the costume were fantastic updates to the story. After that, I felt the writing of all subsequent DC moves were jumbled messes. While I truly believe this is a overall failure for the future of DC movies, given the product of the DC movies, perhaps this is the best for Cavill's career.

It is more of a movement to disallow them the ability to PM others. Chip said that he was not trying to conduct business. I stated that he lied referencing two inquiries I had regarding Chip's status and accounts of him trying to purchase items through PM. One of the two members came forth to support my claim and the Chip admitted that he was "only trying to buy" items. I can't remember his name but there was a foreign variant collector who was banned from the forum by the mods years ago. I was told that he too sticks to PMs and continues to buy and trade through PM. So the question is, at least to me, whether or not the ability to PM should be removed from the individuals who are in the Hall of Shame. In the case of Chip, he has actually admitted that he has attempted to conduct business with other members through the messaging system.

It took me a while to also find a decently wrapped 80 and that is another reason I have not upgraded my copy in an 8.0. It also took me awhile to find a sharp looking 85. Interesting... I think the ASM collector knew part of the trends regarding this run but this is the first time I have ever seen 'the numbers'. Cool.

GF was beyond grateful for something I handled for her and another thing I supported her on. She told me that she really wanted me to think of any place I wanted to go or anything I wanted to do and we would do it. So now we are patiently awaiting an announcement for the NYE run. She came to two shows with me last year... she’s a trooper.

Kav, I know you have me on ignore but I am hoping you see this. He can post whatever he wants. I do not understand why he chooses not to and demands for me to do it. If he wants a private message between himself and I posted, as I stated, he is free to do so. If you are making reference to those that messaged me about Chip Cataldo, then that I won’t do. Bird came forward by his own merit. Others can choose to do that on their own. Eventually Chip admitted that he was making buying inquiries in private messages rendering any doubt pertaining to that a moot point. Ever since I referred to your actions as that of someone who needs a babysitter or something like that, (I honestly forget) you choose to ignore me. So be it. But separate your dislike of me from the facts surrounding Chip Cataldo. Take me out of it and Chip is still trying to swing deals despite being on the HOS list.

Didn’t consider that - figured he wouldn’t be so low. At this point you are right. He has access to post whatever he wants. There must be a reason he won’t do so. Let me see what I can dig up. Just by the looks of the Mickey and Minnie figurines leaves me to believe they aren’t licensed. But the other molds are actually somewhat good for the time period which would lead me to believe that they are (like Captain Hook and the Blue Fairy). The figures would definitely have been produced sometime after 1959 since Alaura and one of the fairy godmothers are present from 1959’s Sleeping Beauty.
