  1. Oh c'mon ! You are getting lazy in your years. I did a 'sold' search for Amazing Spider-man 301 with a filter of $25-$35 and it yielded 56 results. I scrolled down until I saw the image with the red background. Anyway, I went through the feedback. Seller did not leave the buyer feedback and the buyer did not leave the seller feedback which would have been indicated by a masked user with a feedback score of 20 left in the last 6 months. Because of there being absolutely no feedback, there is a slight chance that this may not be the listing.
  2. You're welcome... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Spider-Man-301-Nice-Silver-Sable-Todd-McFarlane-/323375512980?hash=item4b4aaebd94%3Ag%3ALJgAAOSwvg1bYKl9&nma=true&si=U5GgaV1v1i80HFU2kqV7YRx48Gg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  3. There are some threads that I crack a beer open for. Then there are some threads that I pour a wine for. I selected a cab, a few slices of coffee dusted fontega I am digging and some pieces of a cured meat that I didn't save the label for.
  4. RMA enters the arena... For the newer members, pay attention. This thread has possibilities.
  5. You are wasting precious energy pushing keys and forming words that the intended recipient is never going to comprehend.
  6. I heard that only the top lawyers are being considered...
  7. So let me state what I am led to believe is going on here. @cgcmod8 contacted @Pirate that it is considered trolling to make members aware that they are interacting with users of this board who are in the HOS. The issue is that it is currently considered trolling and my understanding is that trolling is a bannable offense. I would contend that some of the members who have used the forum to defraud the other members or misrepresent their circumstances to garner sympathy continue to troll the boards by ingratiating themselves upon new users. Let's make believe that I have a TWENTY year history of defrauding members of various message boards including the present one I am on which is operated by CCG. I use these boards to defraud RMA and misrepresent my personal circumstances to garner sympathy of others which allows me to continue to defraud. RMA gets me nominated to the HOS. Another member of the boards reminds people that I have defrauded others in the past. Even though I am on a list that advises people not to trade with me, my current and future interactions will ingratiate with me new members. These new members will not be aware of my previous actions and then could eventually be duped into providing the assistance that the older members have already fallen victim to. The board member that we are probably talking about did more than just defraud other members in the FS threads. He tried to ingratiate himself upon the community and misrepresented himself to the boards. He interacted with others, acting as the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing, trying to bait others to support his favorite charity, himself. Since he used his interactions with others to profit off of in a fraudulent manner, I believe his ability to do that in the future should be rescinded. He should not have the ability to ingratiate himself as he has demonstrated through his history to build upon those relationships to fraudulently profit off of them.
  8. I absolutely agree with you. I also believe that this should be taken to the moderation area for further discussion. The Mods have a history of banning members for actions similar to the individual that is the topic of your discussion. I would love to air my thoughts on the subject in a more suitable surrounding.
  9. At least he stopped messaging me through ebay after I had to ask him for a fourth time to stop.
  10. I have a number of them.... I think I have around ten of them... maybe more. Some are permanently with me. Others will pay or offset the cost for the ones I am keeping.
  11. Careful, he may threaten you with...
  12. Exactly... Also, used books and video games should not be in this category as these are supposed to be items for sale not 'borrowing.'
  13. I've been saying this for years. You and I both live on Long Island. I've been told by Fed Ex... "We know your package is on Long Island... we currently do not know where on Long Island." or something like this. Mind numbing that this would be said instead of "We currently are trying to locate your parcel." Driver telling me that I almost got him fired because I went nuts on Fed Ex after the driver signed my package himself which contained a copy of Superman 3 and then left it on the wrong doorstep somewhere else in town. Fed Ex said the package was somehow signed for while I was working in Brooklyn all day despite there being no one home. I recently complained again after they signed for another package of mine themselves and left it on the doorstep. I found a comiclink package that I knew had to be signed for just left out on the stoop. I hate em.
  14. One of the things that they should do is stop scanning packages as delivered and then actually delivering them a day later. That happened this week and I wasted time arguing with people that I had not received the package that was marked delivered. I received it the next day.
  15. So last night I went to the Met in Manhattan. One of the stops we made was to the Egypt display to see the temple of Dendur. https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/547802 <-- See the temple here. As I was looking around, I noticed that there were some contemporary names and dates in the stone that I had not noticed in my previous visit around thirty years ago as a child. I had an idea what the markings were and asked a few people on the museum staff to have my suspicions confirmed. I am sharing one of these "signatures". I noticed a "NY" engraved into the stones and asked about it. One of the security guards pointed out the name "L BRADI... 1821 of NY" is Luther Bradish, who in 1819, was sent by Secretary of State John Quincy Adams to negotiate a treaty with the Ottoman Empire. While he was in the Middle East he decided to make his mark on the temple and carved his name on it in Egypt. Bradish would eventually become Lt Governor of NY in 1838. By 1850 he became President of the New York Historical Society where he was charged with preserving artifacts such as the one he had defaced almost 30 years prior. The museum staff told me that they investigated the names when the temple was given to the Met in New York in the 1960's. He stated that if the temple had come to NY during Bradish's tenure that it would have led to the removal of his position as President of the New York Historical Society. I took a picture to share. Keep this mind if you ever start marking up your comic books as a kid and one day want to work for CGC.
  16. He continues to send me messages despite my asking him to stop. I double down on the above message.
  17. I have blocked him. In my short experience, I would also recommend others not to deal with "tenofusvsyou", in any capacity simply based off his incessant and nonsensical messages.
  18. Was also in attendance. Drove out from Long Island and it is always worth the trip.
  19. @JVales It has been established that the book was late. You claim that the book was not in the condition that you felt it was advertised in. Why did you send back the cover of an ASM 301 attached to an Archie book? @Venom Justice
  20. It has been established that the book was late. You claim that the book was not in the condition that you felt it was advertised in. When you returned the book why did you send the seller the cover of an ASM 301 attached to an Archie book? That is not the book that was sent to you. Jason Vales, you still have not explained yourself. All you have done was make demands and vague threats. So I will ask again, what happened?
  21. Must be an epidemic going around. I was recently asked if I could lower the price of a book because the prospective buyer was "broke."
  22. That's what I did with them as well. There was no way I was going in and changing the return policy for 200 individual items.
  23. That would be from tenofusvsyou My exact words to him on eBay were, "You and I both know you are not going to pursue a lawsuit. (Time and money are a PITA) "
