  1. I would like to know more of the exact nuances. I admit that I would like to read the emails even with the names blocked off to see how this exchange exactly went down from the get go.
  2. Hoo boy... If you think the place is dead wait until someone starts a certain thread that should be coming in the next couple of days.
  3. There will be a Marvel Cinematic Universe Comic eventually... Like they had the Ultimate Universe... the MCU Comics book should eventually make its way to comic shops. I mean, it's only been ten years. personally I do not know why Disney does not command it. Look what they are doing with the the movies and comics for Star Wars... supposedly they are tied together. Why can't the comics have their own separate universe where they align with the movies?
  4. Casey to make myself clear, I never thought you were. I will say it publicly here that I do not think you are trying to tell people who they should and should not associate with. I should have made that clear and can see that the way I worded it insinuated something I did not mean it to.
  5. That's what I was confused about because I was thinking that the original buyer would receive notification that their item was shipped 'again'. Yeah... I wouldn't be doing this. But, as I said, we all have our own moral compass as to what is right and wrong. I don't think that this is right. BUT... that doesn't mean I cannot get along with RMA. If we were to all outline every single one of our faults, myself included, and then say that each of those faults were a deal breaker, I do not believe anyone would ever talk to anyone else ever again.
  6. I still do not understand how one can do that. I just asked a few other people and they are as clueless as to do that as well. After the glitch is fixed and it is no longer possible to do this then please outline how this could be accomplished.
  7. Funny... he has a book I am looking for and I actually had his copy on my watch list. After this, I do not want to do business with him.
  8. What's hilarious about this guy's feedback is that if I saw that someone wrote than on a seller's page (even as criticism) it would make me more likely to do business with that seller. @Logan510, he basically gave you free advertising, I would keep that feedback.
  9. I dunno... there were plenty of instances where I was much happier selling something off than I was originally buying it
  10. The heroin situation is out of control on Long Island. It is cheap and easily available. I go for a bike ride along the preserve or down to Jones Beach and you can see needles in the grass. I went to the Walt Whitman mall a couple of weeks ago and there were needles in the parking lot. I am truly sorry for your loss as this epidemic is out of control out here. From my profession, we saw this epidemic coming over 15 years ago but no one on Long Island wanted to publicly talk about it or admit to its severity. Leaders of many LI communities made sure it was spoken about in hushed voices in fear that it would lower the home values in their towns. If only they knew then the impact of those decisions. I hope that your family can heal. It never gets "better" but in time, it becomes more manageable to deal with the loss. Just try to remember the best of times that you had with your brother and focus on that. Celebrate the life he lived not how he passed. Please give a hug to your parents from many of us on the CGC boards as I am sure from after reading this we will be thinking them.
  11. 8% eBay bucks using the app though
  12. Seller got back to me and had forgotten t take the eBay auction down. What a shame since the cover went for $60 on CLink...
  13. Because comics cost $4 each. Make believe you buy a four issue story arc... you are spending $16 for what amounts to 40 minutes of entertainment at most... (I am going to allow ten minutes per comic and even that I feel is generous). It really does not take ten minutes to read a single comic but whatever... OR... I could spend $16 on a movie ticket and have a full 2.5 hr experience that tells a complete story... such as Spider-man Homecoming and Black Panther. I honestly feel that new comics are way too expensive for what they bring to the table at $4 each.
  14. Thanks ! I bought a Bose Soundlink II speaker. I have the original in black for another room and it is phenomenal. I've been meaning to pick up another one. I also made sure to pick a seller that deals in electronics that has a good reputation and NOT Best Buy so I would not have to pay the tax. On top of that the coupon saved me around $20.
  15. Sold a Transformer for $70 Didn't catch this in time. Stoooooopid work.
  16. 1092 + 1095 with bubble interior and packing peanuts between the ends of the two boxes to act as bumpers. The (non box) packing materials come from the giant lawn bag of bubble I have in the basement and the large box of packing peanuts I have saved from ComicLink.
  17. It is fine since the priority box is being used for it's intended purpose. Priority shipping. There is nothing in the code that says, "singular use" or anything like that. I have combined boxes together to create a 'telescope' box for items. I have also used two flattened priority boxes to ship cheap art pages. However, yesterday I wrote a seller to explain himself. He charged me priority shipping yet shipped a Star Wars TOY using MEDIA rate. He basically at first told me that I was SOL... It was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. To me THAT is dishonest.
